Nicer than expected.

Hotel was conveniently located in the downtown area within walking distance to plenty of places for eats and drinks. Room was very clean and the beds were great! The hotel staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Would stay again and would recommend.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The Hairy Buffalo's bison burgers are excellent. The Hard Rock Cafe is also worth the walk for great steak. All in all everywhere we ate had good food.

My review of Radisson Hotel Cleveland-Gateway

The Radisson Cleveland Hotel was a great place to stay. The room was large and very comfortable complete with sleep comfort beds. I appreciated the small refrigerator and bottled water. It was close to Jacobs Field and easy walking distance to the lake front and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. One thing it would have been nice to know was that there was a lot of street construction being done and it was a bit hard to find. Another thing was the fact that parking was an extra charge. The dining area needs to be a bit larger and the coffee needs to be stronger (though that may be my personal feeling 'cause I'm a Peet's drinker). Over all a very pleasant stay.

unbeatable location for the price

This is the second time we used this hotel, it is straight across from Quicken Loan Arena, and on the same street are some very good restaurants, we have a great time and the area is very clean.

award winning indeed!

My mom and I stayed at the Radisson for a girls weekend to visit the Rock N Roll HOF and Cedar Point. It was a perfect location - 1 block from Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Area, and easy walking distance of the HOF, lots of restaurants including 4th Street, and Tower City Center. The hotel was beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean, quiet, and the staff were all friendly. The valet parking service was always fast and reasonable at $20 a day. We left our pillows in the room and the hotel is promptly sending them back free of charge. We had room service breakfast one morning and it was hot, delicious and right on time. I can't say enough about how pleased we were!

There is a lovely area called 4th Street about 2 blocks from the Radisson. It's an alleyway between 2 major streets that is lined with restaurants and cafes, all with outdoor seating. It is decorated with an abundance of flowers and has lights strung across from building to building. So beautiful and quaint - a must visit in Cleveland!

My stay

I stayed for St. Paddy's Day weekend. Not only was the staff extremely friendly but they were very attentive to people coming in and out as to make sure strange people weren't finding their way in. Even the policeman on duty was all smiles, joking around with all the stayers. I even had a few laughs with the cleaning ladies as I carries my case of beer to the room! I got a room on the cheaper side so I figured it wasn't going to be that big- when I got I there I was shocked at how enormous the room was! Not to mention the fact that they had a fridge and microwave in the room as well. It's perfect location, amazing room and down to earth staff has definitely enabled me to say in all honesty I would choose their hotel over any other in downtown Cleveland!

Great location

The hotel room was great (clean, comfortable, small refrigerator, hide-away TV, ironing board, etc.), and it was located only two minutes away from where we were going, which made it even better! The clerks were very nice and we really enjoyed our stay there!

Great location!

We went for the Cleveland Indian game against Detroit. The location was perfect and the room was very clean. Beds were comfy and we loved [...] at the front desk! If you need help with something in the evening concerning your room it is best if you contact housekeeping directly instead of the desk. Staff a little surly in the evening :-) Oh well, who isn't.

The Winking Lizard is next door - great beer selection and pretty decent wings! Also, if you walk down 6th away from stadium (1 blk from hotel) there is a street running adjacent to Prospect - lots of dining and cool shopping!
