Overnight stay

Great Location - for sports fans! Walking distance to Quicken Loans Arena & Progressive Field. The only issue we had ( And I read this in a review from another customer) was - we were only there about 30 min when one of the cleaning crew just stuck their key in & walked in on us!! Never knocked - just walked in!! She was very apologetic, but it is still inexcusable!! When I went to the desk clerk - he was a little defensive -trying to justify it - but a manager nearby overheard & said that she would log it in & take the "necessary steps" to insure that it wouldn't happen again!!

Nice stay

Excellent staff, very helpful. Location near Progressive Field. Not on vaca but enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighbourhood during the season opener. Breakfast not included but the buffet was good value and nice wait staff.

OK, but...

If all you do is sleep there, this is a good deal, but don't expect more than that, because it just isn't there. The staff is helpful and friendly, but the little touches, like a restaurant that's open a bit more often, or a gift shop, or a knowledgeable concierge, are just out of reach. The location is great - walking distance to most major downtown attractions, including the Rock 'n Roll Hall of fame, but best used as a base camp as opposed to a retreat.

The Winking Lizard offers casual dining, an unusual menu, and great staff - and it's within 500 feet of the front door.

Good enough and that's not bad!

The Radisson was well situated (near downtown, food, entertainment, public transportation, etc) and clean. The room lacked a mini frig which was a bit of an inconvenience for me (medicines that needed to be kept cool) and the staff was very friendly but not always on the ball. The valets themselves were very nice and energetic but communication about our car always broke down and the waits were interminable, especially when a concert or ball game let out (the parking lot is actually pretty far from the hotel). It was a pleasant stay but not one to rave about. However, the price was good and there also weren't many complaints. When cost is an issue, it's convenient and not bad, period. Cleveland, btw was a lovely surprise. Nice buildings, interesting culture, very friendly people and some charming quirks throughout the city!

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Cleveland Public Library is a quiet oasis very near the hotel in downtown and it has not only the cutest sculptures (sure to entrance young ones or the young at heart), but also a great special collections section. Not just dreary dusty stuff, but really fascinating cool museum-quality stuff!

Loud n Lonesome

Left to feel as if we were just another couple passing the staffs hours away. The night was full of loud noises and unusual thumps......not the good thumps either. Will not stay there again. If you want prime location, less than average service....head on in!

Recent stay

Overall decent experience. Service was good and room was clean. Furniture was nothing fancy. Could stand a renovation -- the bed was hard as a rock and sunken in on one side by a good 4 inches. If you rolled into it you felt like you were rolling down a hill. Because I was only there to sleep, this would cause me to stay somewhere else next time.

the good, the bad, the ugly

the location couldnt been any better for the concert we attended. I booked two rooms for my friends, and my wife and I,for the same price and got a much smaller room, Are friends made out much better with a room the size of a appartment 4 rooms! The beds were awful, they were the sleep number mattress beds that you adjust to your preference neither bed worked. It was like sleeping on a rock. And be prepared to pay an additional 20 dollars for parking, You would think for the price you pay for the rooms parking would be included.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel

The staff was nice, the hotel was comfortable and the location was convenient to surrounding restaurants and walking distance to R&R Hall of Fame. Things to watch out for: If you are programming your GPS for this address, MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE COMPLETE ADDRESS - This means including the East direction in the address (i.e. 651 E. Huron Road) which is left out in the [...]information. You will be sent to a completely different area that is at least 1/2 hour out of the way and across the bad roads that are Cleveland. The hotel manager said that this has been a continuing problem with online sites and the hotel staff said that they would contact them again in an attempt to resolve. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is an in/out lot open 24 hours next door that is reasonable. The hotel does offer valet parking for $20 a day with unlimited access to your vehicle, just know that it takes about 10-15 mins. to get your car.On the up side: We went to The Melt Bar and Grilled in Lakewood for dinner. It was a wonderful experience. The food was superb, the staff was friendly and the selection of beer was very comprehensive. It is a warm and inviting environment that drew us back for a second visit. There are many restaurants in walking distance, though downtown Cleveland is conspicuously absent of large numbers of people. There are people, it is just not what I was expecting for a city this size.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again.

Good Local

Great location, right in the heart of the city. Next to Progressive field and The Q. Rooms where very nice, service was excellent, valet service, only thing I would change was their pop, ice, and vending machines are all on different floors. But other than that it was great.
