La Quinta Inn Cleveland Airport North

The La Quinta Inn Cleveland Airport was pretty much a standard nofrills hotel. Although the staff at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, the cleanliness left much to be desired. Housekeeping was not performed on our room during our first nites stay and we were forced to pack up our belonging and move to another room. Subsequently, houskeeping was still lacking and we had to request towels and other toiletries n a daily basis.

THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST TERRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD. BEGINNING WITH BEING FORCED TO PARK IN THE BACK OF THE HOTEL BECAUSE OF APPARENT RE-PAVING, WHICH NEVER TOOK PLACE THE ENTIRE 5 DAYS WE WERE THERE, TO THE WALL PAPER BEING TORN DOWN IN THE HALLS AND DINING AREA, TO THE WINDOWS IN THE HALLS BEING LEFT OPEN, TO DRILLING AND HAMMERING TAKING PLACE DURING OUR ENTIRE STAY.....THIS HOTEL NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENT. ASIDE FROM THE FACT THAT WHAT APPEARED TO BE PROSTITUTES SMOKING AT THE BACK DOOR AND LEAVING THE DOOR CRACKED WITH A ROCK SO THEIR "FRIENDS" COULD GAIN ENTRY TO THE HOTEL, [*] WE ALSO WITNESSED A BAREFOOT TODDLER WEARING NOTHING BUT DIAPERS RUNNING THROUGH THE PARKING LOT AT 9:30 AT NIGHT. AS FOR THE HOTEL ROOM ITSELF, ALTHOUGH WE WERE A PARTY OF THREE, HOUSEKEEPING NEVER GAVE US MORE THAN 2 TOWELS, 2 BARS OF SOAP, AND 2 SHAMPOOS, DESPITE OUR CONTINUOUS REQUESTS. OUR DAUGHTER USES 2 TOWELS TO HERSELF ALONE! THIS IS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED NOR WHAT WE PAID FOR. THIS HOTEL STAY WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

The room was extremely duty, there were empty butter cases between the nightstand and the bed, lots of dust and spider web, the bathroom had the trashcan full.

this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. TV didn't work, carpet had stretched to where there were large wrinkles across the room, towels were like rags....awful place they should tear it down. It doesn't even deserve a one star

I was not happy in a smoking room. My preference was non smoking. I will not stay at a place that allows smoking in the building.

The entrance was blocked with no way of driving into the parking lot without getting onto the Interstate 71. "Comfy" new beds are advertised but we had old uncomfortable mattresses.

Loose very stained carpets. Shower falling apart and old. A/c quit during the night.

The hotel is located under the path of incoming planes, we heard planes coming in/out of the airport. Although did not matter much as we were gone most of the day, and were too tired in the evening to bother. But if your light sleeper you may not appreciate. Also theres a lot of construction outside. The room svc not good, no toilet paper, shampoo, soap kleenex restock for first 2 nights, we had to tell the front desk, there after no problem.

The staff that picked us up from the airport was complaining that she had to work over time, when we arrived at the hotel the desk clerk was unkempt, shirt was dingy and wrinkled. The room smelled the pillow was stained, the linen was wrinkled and dingy. Poor comparison and I will never stay at nor will I recommend this hotel to any one (La Quinta Inn Cleveland Airport )
