Hotel across from Progressive Field is home run for baseball fans
The Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown is located across the street from Progressive Field where the Cleveland Indians play. It is the perfect home base for guests in town to catch a ball game or two. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Quicken Loans Arena, CSU Wolstein Center, and Playhouse Square. A free downtown shuttle provides transportation to destinations within one mile of the hotel. Guests enjoy free wireless Internet access. All guest rooms feature a hospitality center, equipped with a microwave, coffeemaker, and refrigerator.

Overnight stay
We arrived late and left early, so we did not see too much of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was beautiful, cean and very comfortable. Check -in and check-out were quick and easy. If the ad mentioned the $16 parking fee, I missed it. That semed a bit pricey to me. There is a $5 lot across the street that can be used but we did not see it in the dark when we arrived. Will definitely stay there again next year when we are in town.

Its ok
My stay was ok. The staff was great and location is great! Rooms need to be updated but they were clean. I think the price for what it is, is too much. There is a Radisson that is around the corner from the stadium that is much nicer and around the same price.

Overall, a good experience. Room was nice, hotel staff courteous and fast. We were there to see a show at playhouse square, which was within walking distance from the hotel. The one thing I wasn't happy with was paying $20 to park at the hotel. This was part of the reason I booked this hotel, was not to pay for outrageous parking for the show. That didn't work out quite so well. The mini store by the front desk was very nice to pick up snacks and drinks. It was a decent experience.

twins trip
go to baseball games and hall of fame football and rock and roll. the night life at the hotel bar wasnt real good. closed to early. Idid not like the idea of paying sixteen dollars a day for parking

Another great stay here
There for Indians game, stadium is across the street maybe a 5 minute walk. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Nice sized flat screen tv, good channel selection. Staff very nice and helpful!

Staff was wonderful, very pleasant, bar attached, great food, 4.00 drafts and 4.50 bottles, only downfall we had to pay 16.00 dollars to park overnight, other then that our stay was wonderful.

"Great Place"
We attended the Jets-Browns game, Great experience. Hotel service was very helpful by supplying transportation to the game, also giving us directions and easiest routes to visit several local attractions. Trying to plan another trip to Cleveland and we will surely try to stay again .
