Great Stay
There was some construction going on, which limited the elevator usage from three to two. We were there for a Browns game and didnt spend much time in the room, but when we were there it was very comfortable. The room was clean the bed was great and the bathroom was a good size. We got there early and we were given our room right away, the staff was great and helpful. It is a ways to good dining. We walked about four blocks to get a good selection for dining.

Really a very nice hotel, way beyond a two star
We had a room on the renovated upper floors. I was very impressed. This property is way beyond a two star; I would say at least a three star hotel. The staff including the doormen were unfailingly friendly and polite. We even received phone voicemessages asking if they could do anything for us. This property even provides a free breakfast buffet including fruit, waffles, eggs and fresh oatmeal, a breakfast a little beyond the usual free ones. The only downside was that only one elevator was operating on New Year's Day and one has to pay for parking across the street. But every hotel in downtown Cleveland has pd parking and the fee is relatively minimal in comparison

Fun family weekend.
It's lovely to have a hot breakfast in the a.m. without having to leave the hotel, and especially at no extra cost. Our location was perfect for all we wanted to do while in Cleveland and the staff was super good!

Lodging for Browns Game
Chose this hotel for its proximity to the Rapid Transit and Browns Stadium. Bed was very comfortable. Just one desk chair; no comfortable chair for reading or relaxing. Used the public access computer in the lobby, but got lucky because there is only one. Complimentary breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, biscuits, make-your own waffles.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Nice dinner at Bricco restaurant in the theater district. Good pasta, reasonably priced, friendly, attentive waitress. Meat and cheese appetizer is a very generous portion with nine varieties for $9.

A Black Hole
Not a good value. The staff are not friendly. They charge $18 for valet parking and $16 for self parking per day when the parking lots nearby only charges $4-$8 per day if you bypass the hotel. We paid for a suite. However, there was a tunnel effect of the noise from the AC turbines below. The room was so noisy that no man in his right mind can fall asleep. We had to move to a much smaller room, with a King and sofa bed.

Short walk from hotel
if 20min. of walking is not too much, you can find a lot of restaurants on the 4th street by Euclid.

Nice stay
Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Only continental breakfast that was a little short on variety. Only valet parking at $18/night plus tax but car retrieved within 10 minutes. Hotel close to all downtown attractions and easy access to freeway. Beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked but plenty of space in the room.

Walk to the game(s)
Great location for Progressive field, rock-n-roll HOF, and Catholic church across the street. No dining except for the comp breakfast that was good enough but overcrowded and understaffed. Room was quiet, clean and comfy. Not "cheap" but if you want to walk to everything, it's worth the price.
