Loved my stay
Dawg Pound South Oct 6, 2009
My wife and I love the Cleveland Mariott. We come in to town every year for a Browns game, and stay at different places. ... This is our first time at the Mariott, and I think we've found our permanent hotel. The rooms were spotless and very attractive. The bed was extremely comfortable. We got the breakfast package, so our rate included the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. The staff all had their Browns gear on, the buffet was great, and the omelet chef cooked to order. Easy walk to the stadium, Rock Hall, Tower City, and more.

First Class Accomodations
Indians Fans Jun 5, 2009
For a world class hotel, the room was smaller than we expected, but the service was excellent. The hotel seems to get a lot ... of celebrity guests, but the staff treated us as well as anyone else. We had tickets to the weekend series between the Indians and the Yankees and soon learned that the Yankees' players were staying in the same hotel. The fitness center is well equipped but the pool is just a lap pool, only 3 feet deep. Room service and David's Restaurant in the hotel are a little pricey but to be expected.

walking distance to many downtown areas of interest
Scott Nov 16, 2008
The hotel is in walking distance to many downtown areas of interest. e.g. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Browns' stadium, ... Science stadium, waterfront, Cavaliers' areana, Indians' ballpark, several excellent restaurants (such as Lolas run by one of the winners of Iron Chef). Also within short cab ride $5-7 of several cool neighborhoods around cleveland. I am not a fan of the ultrasoft beds Marriott has adopted since they hurt my back - didn't realy know that until this trip.

Too much noise
Wayne Jul 27, 2008
I got a room on the ninth floor.when I checked in I asked for a lower floor because I'm terrified of heights. This hotel has ... always been very good at granting this request before. The woman at the front desk made no effort to try and find me another room. She totally blew me off and said this is your room and I can't help you.I checked in at 4:00 pm so I was plenty early. Then to top it off, she gave us a corner room, with twice the windows. My wife had to go in and close all of the curtains before I would enter the room. This corner room was TERRIBLE...The street noise was so bad that I could not sleep all night long.I have always liked this hotel and the location is perfect for what we want to do.But I do not know if I would ever stay here again.
