Watch Out
This hotel was picked b/c we were going to the reds game and I couldn't find anything cheaper in the same star range. I had read previous reviews where someone was booted to another hotel and I thought that was a 1 time thing. Well, they tried to do it to us and I wouldn't let them. It was a 1:00 game; so, our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 11:30 and we left our luggage at the hotel. When we came back after the game to check in, the manager tried to send us to the Millenium or the Hyatt. I explained to him my situation and then he did find us a room after my insistance. Next time, I'll just go ahead and book a room in one of those other hotels and skip the process of reserving a room here and having the possibility of ending up at another hotel. Room was very spacious and clean.

Not what I'd hoped for
We were celebrating our anniversary. I like to go to hotels because I expect things to be newer, cleaner and more up to date than my home. This wasn't the case. The location and the staff were great, but the hotel itself needed a "facelift." For the amount of money we paid, I would have driven a little further out. One thing that really got on my nerves was the doorbell on the outside of our door (hotel converted from apartments to hotel rooms). Someone rang ours at 3 in the morning! Jumped out of our skins!

Adequate, but no vacation
The hotel needs some serious updates. Everything is old and not exactly clean. It was adequate for what we needed it for as we spent very little time at the hotel. But when I go on vacation I expect comfort, cleanliness, and quiet. The walls are thin so you can hear everything and the beds are very firm and uncomfortable. I felt I was in my college dorm again! The kitchen (although a nice feature for a hotel) is filthy and all cups, plates, utensils, etc. were gross. The staff on the other hand was very nice and helpful. Couldn't ask for more from these guys. The shuttle was helpful as well. All in all, if you are just looking for a cheap place to hang your head, this isn't bad. But if you are actually trying to enjoy yourself and have a comfortable vacation, you may want to spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere else.

What a Nightmare
I booked 3 months in advance, then called and verified reservations the day before. When I arrived, they said they were overbooked and had made arrangements at another hotel. I paid for a 2 bedroom suite w/ kitchen & living room and I ended up with a one room with 2 double beds several miles away. No refunds, no credits, no nothing. Never deal with these people ever.

Don't bother
Unless you are seeing a concert and want to walk to the US Bank Arena, don't bother. Bad neighborhood with lots of homeless and beggers. Hotel is very dated. Mattresses are lumpy with odd smell on linens. Staff tries. Hotel restaurant was nice. Overpaid through [...]because the rooms were sold out directly. Get a deal with free parking if you can.

Ugh!
I traveled to Cincinnati for My daughters orientation. The hotel we chose was only a few miles from the University however one of the worst roads to travel especially at night. The hotel room itself smelled like bad body odor. The linens were old and thin. I will not ever stay there again.

Wedding Disaster
The room that we received (the newlyweds) was not at all like the rooms that I was shown or that are in the pictures on the website. Our room was dark, kitchen was in fair condition, bedding and window treatments were very outdated, towels were small and poor quality, beds were uncomfortable, deck had loose stones and large, dangerous steps and we had to call 2 times to get the upstairs A/C working. The room was fairly clean, but badly in need of some TLC. The other guests rooms varied in quality and cleanliness as well. The elevators were extremely slow and one kept getting stuck in the basement, even though no guests wanted to go there. The front desk staff was attentive and kind during the day, however the night shift did not resolve a situation of significance. There were other hotel guests running up and down hallways in the middle of the night, banging on doors and ringing doorbells while singing and yelling. They offered no financial compensation when staff was alerted in the morning. Our hospitality suite with catered menu was of poor value and we brought drinks and other items which were never put out. We were not there to know otherwise. Finally, the parking garage is a good value, however does not have easy access to the hotel. It is open to the public and I had several near misses by individuals who were trying to get home from work in a hurry. We have stayed at many other local hotels downtown, as well as in other cities. This was by far the worst experience and nothing was done by management to rectify the situation. I would highly recommend not booking your wedding there, as they tend to overbook wedding parties and definitely do not use their catering for your event.

Sleepless in Cincinnati
This is a dumpy hotel that hasn't been updated in years. Compared with other suites hotels, a pretty low hurdle, this place is really bad. The walls were very thin and I could hear lots of street noise and other guests. The beds were poor quality and the linens even poorer.

Ridiculous Disappointment
70's Horror flick setting
For almost 200 bucks on a freggin Tuesday night... The room was huge, yes. Creepy everything. The furniture was from a horror flick, the kitchen was brand new in the 70's and the whole place smelled like a 1950's closet. We didn't even bathe we wanted out so quick. If this were half price it would be 3 star... it's insane what they charge for how nasty this place is. It's two blocks from the ghetto too!

Stay away
Rented a two bedroom downtown. Had 4 people altogether, 2 per room. Spilt a bag of chips on floor, cleaned up as much as I could without a vacuum. Left crums on ground and got charged and additional 100$ . Hair on beds , library next store blocks view , out dated would never stay there again and would not recommend a friend stay there.
