Good 60's Feelin
Good deal for the price...rooms are throwback to the 60's but I really enjooyed the stay in these home like apartments. Everything needed was in walking distance.

Good price for the large suite
Large condo--size was great for the price. Borderline location on edge of downtown--a bit nervous walking late at night. Walked to the Reds and Bengals games. Hotel was not modern but was fine for our purpose which was mainly sleeping.

The room was large with a family room, kitchen and master suite. The toilet did not flush well. The building is most likely 45 years old. The TV reception was pretty poor and the tv's themselves are antiquated. [...]who runs the shuttle was very cool and helpful and a pleasure to be around. the side splash on the vanithy was pulling away from the wall. So, maintenance is inadequate.

Garfield Suites
Very Courteous staff! They upgraded our room to the jacuzzi suite free of charge. The only suggestion I could make is that its a little outdated and could use some remodeling.

[...] info said I had a smoking room but there are none in that hotel;[...] Hotel had a nice happy hour w/food and drink. Parking in the hotel garage requires better directions and service.

very comfortable
this is the second time we've stayed at Garfield Suites. Staff is very friendly; rooms are clean and comfortable - although there is evidence that maintenance is not being attended such as peeling wall paper, surface rust on vanity cabinet, and loose bathroom fixtures. Bed and sofa quite comfortable. Proximity to downtown restaurants, Great American Ballpark, and riverfront is very good.

Spacious Rooms with Lovely View
We've stayed at this hotel once before. The rooms are a bit dated but they are spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony with the view of the city is a nice perk. Hotel location is awesome within walking distance of shopping, dining and a terrific coffee house - The Coffee Emporium!

Good value for location, nothing extraordinary
Probably best value for hotel in downtown Cincinnati. Between hotel shuttle and downtown shuttle, it's easy to get to locations within the downtown area or across the river. The rooms weren't anything special. A little out-dated, but clean. If you're looking to getting around Cincinnati/Covington/Newport without having to drive, this is a great location.
