Brazilian steak restaurant about two blocks from hotel was expensive but very good. Excellent service. Great food and wine. But be sure not to eat all day before showing up, for the amount to food served there was overwhelming.

Review of Hyatt Regency Cincinnati
Philospher King Oct 19, 2009
Nice hotel. Not spectacular. Difficult to find meeting rooms. Staff made up for it though. They were very responsive, ... competent, and nice. Elevators are as slow as molasses in January. Signage for elevators was wrong. You did not need your room key to enter certain floors as the sign stated in the lobby. The location was good. Within walking distance of good shops and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, [*]

Hyatt Stay
Football fan Sep 7, 2009
Stayed in downtown Cincinnati while attending a football game at PBS. The location of the hotel was great. The staff was ... friendly and extremely helpful. Parking was difficult to get to and the elevators didn't work so we had to walk in circles to get back to our car when leaving. The layout of the hotel room was questionable. We couldn't get to the window to see the view unless we moved the furniture and the tv was positioned so you couldn't see it from the bed. The elevators were extremely slow. We ended up taking the steps down 16 floors! The furniture was dated and worn. The hotel was okay for a night's stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. It is only a couple of blocks from Paul Brown Stadium and is an ... easy walk over. The staff was very cordial and the rooms clean. I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Cinci.

Clean friendly hotel in a great location

I went merely to check out cincinatti, hoping that I wouldn't be bored. Downtown Cincinatti is pretty small when you think of ... metro areas, but the city has the same stuff as areas that sprawl more, so everything is within walking distance. I attended a Reds game, went out barhopping, shopping, went to the aqaurium, watched a movie and had lunch and checked out the history museum. You can walk to all of the things mentioned above within 15 minutes, with the exception of the history musem(union station) and the zoo. This hotel was a prime staging area for launching my excursions into the city. My view wasnt the best and I was on the 9th floor, so I'm assuming that 14 and up should net you a decent view of the city or the river. The beds were outstanding and the housekeeping crew made sure everything was spotless upon my return. I left a small amount of cash in my room out in the open and it was still there when i got back. it was my mistake, but its nice to see that some people have integrity. The only restaurant in the bar was a sports bar called champs. didnt have anything but fries and beer there though, as I was always heading out on the town to eat. the food seemed a bit pricey to me, but the stella on tap was tasty and not expensive. my only complaint is the size of the pool. As i would head down to the 5th floor i would see the large outdoor pool of the millenium hotel directly acorss the street and it made me jealous. pool was only 4 ft deep and about 20x12. i went in there only once because it seemed like my eyes were unusually irritated by the chlorine. maybe too much, i dont know. there is a small sunning area outside of the atrium that would sit about 5 or 6 people. sunlight exposure wasnt that great, but who goes to cinci to tan. overall i was very satisfied with the hotel. i will definitely stay there again if i go back to cinci. beds were super comfortable, rooms and bathroom were extremely clean, bar staff downstairs was friendly and the location on 5th street cant be beat.

It had good points and bad
lanne Jul 26, 2009
Our room was on the 5th floor next to the pool and fitness center. We thought that would be nice as it was a short trip to ... the beautiful roof top pool, however, we could hear people working out with weights late at night and as early as 6:00 a.m. We should have asked for a new room after the first night as it didn't get any better. On the positive side, the room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. You do not want room 522! This was nice, but the Hilton across the street looked better.

Rodney Jul 5, 2009
Very nice hotel with a very comfortable bed and clean room. The staff was friendly and very fast. We would stay there ... again. We paid $99 for the night. Please note that you do have to pay for parking if you stay in the hotel parking lot. However, we parked on the street overnight which cost us nothing since they do not charge after 5 pm, and there was plenty of parking available right next to the hotel without having to pay $12.

Needed some FOOD!!!!
Mr. Red Jun 18, 2009
We stayed in town for the REDS game and it had a rain delay. We did not make it back to our room until after about 1am due ... to the late game because of the rain delay. When we got back to our room we were very hungry and there was no where in the hotel to get food. I called front desk and all the restaurants in the hotel were closed. I was given a number of a deli that was open and would deliver but they too were already closed. After about an hour of trying to get food we both just fell asleep. It would be nice to have a small deli or just any style of food available for the late arrivals.
Traveler type: Couples
If you going to arrive late and need a midnight stack, try eating somewhere else before you check in your vehicle with valet and get to your room.

Staying at this hotel allows you to walk to the Bengals stadium, Reds stadium, and even walk to Newport on the Levee (fun place with movies, games, bars, restaurants, etc.)
--Christine, Clearwater, FL May 25, 2009
There is a mall attached to the Hyatt that you would not know about unless you are from the area or was informed at checkin. Indoor pool is great for year around relaxation. Every thing is a short walk and no car was needed to get around during the 4 day stay. ***Underground Railroad Hitoric Site located a few blocks over***
--Frequent Flyer, California Mar 29, 2009
Attached mall is located inside this hotel. All your dinning needs is also a short walk if not dinning in the hotel. No car is needed and there is a horse and carriage ride that leaves from the other side of the hotel.
