Had a great time!!!

You get what you pay for, was this the hilton? No. Was it in the best part of Cincinnati? No. But it was only a couple minute drive away from everything in downtown, we saw Beyonce and Jay Z at the great American ball park, we were able to get to and from the concert with great convenience and ease. The bedding was all clean and the staff was super nice and friendly, especially the lady who worked the third shift was super helpful. Overall it was a great value and allowed us to see the concert and have the best time ever.

Good Location, Cheap Price

There are a lot of bad reviews on here, but I stayed anyways and it suited our needs. I went for a weekend with my fiance and we wanted to be downtown without paying too much. The place definitely isn't nice, but the rooms were normal average hotel rooms that fitted our needs.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

It is only like 1 mile walk to most of the Cincinnati downtown attractions.

No frills, but good for one night

I stayed at this hotel while in Cincinnati for the Flying Pig Marathon. Pros: The staff was very courteous and offered late checkout to everyone at the hotel since most everyone was there for the marathon. Although the room is very basic, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Cons: The location of this hotel is about 1 mile from downtown Cincinnati and not near any restaurants. You will have to drive as the hotel is not within walking distance of downtown.

Worst hotel ever

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in first off they had the wrong hotel name on the building The directions to The hotel were wrong. The building was rundown, parking was terrible, they had only two staff members and they were rude. The elevators were old in the hallways when she got off the elevators were so outdated and the hall ways looked like something of a scary movie. As soon as We got into our room it smelled like nothing but smoke our bedsheets had burn holes in them cigarette holes in them the carpet had stains all over them we lifted up a mattress and found bed bugs underneath the mattress. We stayed five minutes then checked out and went to a new hotel

Horrible hotel and horrible service

I wanted a romantic getaway in downtown Cincinnati and what I got was a twenty minute walk to downtown, peeling wallpaper, uncomfortable sheets, and poor customer service. If you want to be comfortable and connected to the city this is the wrong hotel.

Alright

The location was perfect, but the room was definitely dated. The pillows were awful and the sheets were rough. The room was alright for a two night stay, and the breakfast wasn't great.

Not sure how this is a 3 star hotel

I stayed here 3 nights despite all of the negative reviews, but I have to concur that this place is sketchy. It's really not that bad as far as cleanliness, but it does need a total overhaul. The hall carpets reminded me of The Shining- FREAKY. However the reason they probably don't invest in a remodel is because it's not in a safe area, and it's not really easily accessible. We got turned around a lot coming from downtown. I didn't feel safe coming or going at any time of the day. There were prost***tes right on the next block, and there was, like in all of the other reviews, homeless people in the parking garage, and a car full of people parked in the garage smoking some sort of d**gs next to my car, and it was really dark in there even in the day time; not to mention the very busy gas station accross the street at all hours of the night. I watched about 2 or 3 wrecks just outside our window. The staff was nice from what I could see of them (never anyone at the front desk), and the room was cleaned everyday so I give them that. Breakfast was good, but you have to make it yourself. Trust me when I say, yes, it's cheap, but being alive is by far a better reason to pay $30 dollars more a night to stay in a nicer, actually downtown hotel that really is 3 stars. Also, wouldn't recommend for families.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

Not just dining, but everything, you have to drive from this hotel. Nothing close but Subway, and White Castle-TAKE GPS EVERYWHERE!!!!! Cincinnati is not set up on the same graph system as newer cities. We got lost a lot.

NICE

We spent 6 nights here and everything was either great or taken care of in a timely manner. We were very close to all the convention area sites and Stadiums. Would definitely stay there again

In town for sister Birthday!

For the price I paid, the location was great. The room was clean. I think details on the hotel it self need some attention. If my room had a newer look I would have been happy. Stains in the tubs. Shower head was shakey. The room phone did not work. next tome I will rethink this location.

Relaxing Weekend...not so much

We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon...I expected to see what I saw online. Not so much. There was a hole in the wall next to the elevators that could have been covered up but was left open for all to see (the whole wall was missing). We then got up to our room and there were holes in the ceiling, the bathroom walls were falling apart, there were brown stains on my bed, dirt and trash around the base of the floors...we had a convention to get to so after we got out of our sessions for the evening we called to ask if we could get a refund for the room so we could find another hotel. The man proceeded to ask us what was wrong with our room-we told him-he then asked rudely again, what was wrong with it? He then informed us that we could get one day refund back and then we could leave and we could pack our bags and get out of there. My friend and I (both female, there for a homeschooling convention) are both not fans of confrontation, so we thought if we approached it nicely we would be treated with the respect say our husbands would have received had they been with us to deal with the situation. Not so much. So by the time we checked out, we had missed another one of our sessions and had to leave the convention a day early due to the fact that all hotels were booked (b/c of the large size of the convention). We were greatly disappointed and are currently dealing with Ramada to get our money back. So what was to be a relaxing, informative weekend, turned into a stressful trip to Cincinnati.
