At least the room was renovated.
We were in town for business from Los Angeles. We were a little worried about the hotel at first glance, as it was dark and under construction. The building seems to be very old. Luckily, the rooms had just been renovated, so it was fairly clean and somewhat updated. It looked like they had put drwyall over the old walls and made it look new. We booked the suite, which was basically a room with a king bed and a room with 2 twins (Who puts twins in rooms now a days??...I guess the small size of the room does not allow two queens) Our room did not have central air and heat, so it's a noisy wall unit. The windows are also pretty thin and there is a lot of noise from traffic and a train that seems to run through every 15 minutes or so. Shower and bath area was clean, but also very small. Booking a suite, we though we might also get a desk with a chair, but that was not available either. Oh and by the way, if the hotel clerk recommends the Italian Restauarant across the street named Vincenzos....DON"T GO! Now that was horrible.

Nearest Starbucks is in the mall that's a couple of blocks down. I think it was called Tri-City Mall. There are also a few nice restaurants in that area.

Fantastic family getaway!!
The hotel was clean and the staff there were great! While there, we went to the zoo, aquarium, and kings island and the location of the hotel was perfect for traveling to those places! Overall, we had a fabulous time, the only thing I could say is could use improvement was there weren't enough towels stocked and we had to keep asking for some.
