Ghetto!

I reserved this room for out of town family, what a mistake. Hallways didn't have proper lighting and was scarey walking through them and the bar downstairs was loud rowdy. Room itself was out of date and dirty. Will not be booking here ever again.

Nasty, dirty, unsafe motel

There were holes in the walls, the bath tube was gross and dirty. I had to use a blanket to cover microwave and freg, so I would not get sick. the lamp shades were smashed, and the walls were dirty. The pool was empty and it was very unsafe, the 3rd floor had people setting outside drinking and allowing children to run up and down wal past 2:30 in morning. Bugs in cereal, everything else was full.

BUGS!

My daughter and I stayed for convenience to her hospital procedure the next morning. Sheets only, no padding on mattress. Bed saggy. I don't mind smoke smell, but this room smelled like an old, dirty bar. Later that afternoon I found three large welts on my leg that I strongly suspect of bed bugs. Spend some extra money and go some place else.

Avoid at all cost

Old and moldy room. Phone didn't work. Sink didn't drain. Wall paper was stapled to the wall. Mattress was old and needed replaced. Pillows were extrememly flat. Parking lot was shared with a run down used care lot. Appears some rooms were rented for the long term as cheap housing. The entire place felt unsafe and I am glad I was traveling alone. I didn't want to subject my wife and son to this place.

Excellent value

I chose this hotel because I was traveling with a pet, and it was conveniently close to my needs while in the area. The staff was excellent - very friendly and courteous. After a long day of traveling, it was nice to be so warmly welcomed in, and have no hassles about the room or the dog! Although located in a busy area, and with a lounge attached, it was quiet and restful. I heard no road noise in the room itself. The lounge could perhaps be a problem on weekends or in warmer weather, but in late October during the week, I wasn't troubled at all by it. However, I was told upon check-in that if the lounge noise DID become a problem, to let them know, and I could be moved to another room. Everything in the room worked fine. Lights, bathroom, water, outlets, phone, tv, heater/vent. The room was reasonably clean. A bit of dust perhaps, but for the price, nothing I would complain about. This is an older building, and is showing some signs of wear and tear. The fixtures for the bathroom and sink could perhaps be replaced, to improve appearances, but they weren't too bad, and worked, so I was happy. I'm a smoker, and this was a "smoking" room. I was pleased that the room didn't reek of stale cigarettes, as some other places have. A couple of down-points - the in-room coffee maker was a single cup variety, yet the coffee pods were for the 4-cup variety. However, this was quickly rectified when pointed out, and a new 4-cup coffee pot was placed in the room. There was no do-not-disturb sign for my room, but they are available. I just didn't bother requesting one. There was no microwave or refrigerator, which I thought was supposed to be in the room (but I could be mistaken). There was a small safe, but I did not use it. The instructions for it seemed simple enough. For the price, I suppose this hotel couldn't be beat! I've paid more for much worse rooms. It was clean (enough), quiet, and comfortable. I don't like to pay for breakfasts and pools and exercise rooms that I won't be using anyway, so I was happy to find a good basic hotel for a great price. It suited me, and served me well. I would stay there again should I need to be back in that area.....but not on weekends, or in the summer, when the lounge would be a bigger issue.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

This hotel is ideally situated close to major roads, restaurants, and shopping possibilities. It's located on a side road which leads to a major road, so access to the hotel is easy, and you have a light for entering the main roads.

Baseball Excursion

Not so good. We called the front desk to ask to stay another night. We were told that was OK. When we came back to the hotel that afternoon, our keys did not work, and the curtain was left open so people could see our belongings. Went to the front desk to straighten things out and the gentleman was completely uncooperative.
