Crowne Plaza CINCINNATI NORTH

We had a great time at the resort and enjoyed our stay! My only criticism is that it should have been made more clear on the site that the rate did not include the resort.

The hotels smoke alarms DID NOT work second nite, when hotel was evacuated. I had to call 911, and local fire dept., was at hotel five minutes. We moved from 8 to first floor where hall was hot and musty. Ben was helpful, but Hotel is not really very clean and air conditioning is not acceptable.

The rooms were nice, smaller than what I had expected; the hotel itself was nice. . . HOWEVER, my experience left a lot to be desired. First, because of the plans we had with time issues, it was more economical to purchase our water park tickets separately from the room. Upon check in (3pm) I asked if I could purchase our water park passes for the next day at that time. I was told I had to purchase the water park tickets the day I planned to use them. The next morning, I was at the front desk at 9am (the water park opening at 10) to purchase my tickets, only to be informed that they sold out of tickets the day before!!!!! The only reason I had chosen this hotel was so my children would be occupied at the water park while I attended other things. I demanded to speak to someone after explaining that I was told the prior day I COULD NOT purchase the tickets then. The clerk spoke to someone; no other person came to talk to me about the matter, and then eventually told me to try purchasing the tickets at the water park itself. I felt this was handled very unprofessionally. Second, complementary items, were "out". The first day was, tooth brushes (the, " oh, you forgot, call front desk for complementary ones"). The second day, when we returned to our room the body was we had used remained empty, the shampoo/conditioner was replaced. We called down for four more towels – two were delivered. Third, when I called for assistance in ordering food, the hotel direct line said they could not assist with the order. We wanted two large pizzas and they only supplied mediums. Instead of working with me to maybe arrange to send us four medium pizzas's or make any suggestions, they told me to try elsewhere. When I asked for a number of where to try. . . I was told to look in the "notebook" that was in our room. Which would have been fine, IF THERE WERE ANY PHONE NUMBERS OR PLACES TO ORDER FOOD FROM IN THE BOOK!!!!!!! It was this constant neglect in little things that made our experience annoying.

My room was right next to noisy highway, probably why they give you ear plugs. My breakfast was cold, so not a good value. On the plus side the staff were all very nice

Well lets see. The rooms and beds are comfortable. I stayed in a non smoker king size bed. There are a few things that need to be changed.The down side.1. [...] I had to pay extra to use the pool.Then you get charged for using a locker2. There is no safe in the room. 3 . There is no fridge in the room either.4. We decided to stay an extra day in cincy due to a medical issue.[...]The upside.1.The staff was awesome. Hard working eager to please.2.The room was very clean just like the hotel.3.Food was good and great selection.4.For what you get the hotel was amazing.

Good location visiting Miami of Ohio campus-about 30 mins commute. Nice alternative for parent's weekend.

Very good price with [...], very nice room and very clean. Would stay again, but will not eat in the resturant. There was a group of 12 and two couples including ourself. Took 45 min to get are salads, another 10 min to get are food which were hamburgers. Food was very good, go figure.

The hotel staff were great! Just a fun hotel!!
