Historic hotel combines old-world charm with modern-day amenities
This grand hotel in the heart of Cincinnati is on the National Register of Historic Places and provides guests with larger-than-average rooms and unique architectural touches, like a marble and walnut grand staircase in the lobby. Traditional afternoon tea is served daily, yet modern-age amenities, such as Wi-Fi in the lobby, ensure 21st century service.

Rooms
The 146 guest rooms in this non-smoking downtown hotel reflect its rich heritage. Many have fireplaces, balconies, and European-style bathrooms and tubs. Rooms are larger than average, ranging from about 300 square-feet up to 1,300 square-feet for a suite.
Features
Guests at the Cincinnatian Hotel might feel more like they are in old-world Europe than in a Midwestern city. The lobby exudes classic grandeur with a marble and walnut grand staircase, but free Wi-Fi available in the lobby, guest rooms, and meeting spaces keeps guests connected.
A 1987 renovation polished up the Cincinnatian and created some extra large guest rooms, but the old-world charm is intact. Rooms range in size from about 300 square-feet to 1,300-square-foot suites. In-room amenities include European-style bathrooms with soaking tubs, and all rooms include DVD player. Guests can rent movies from the front desk.
Well-known Palace Restaurant on site serves a menu combining American, Asian, and European influences. The European experience is further enhanced with afternoon tea served daily.

Always a great stay
I have stayed at the Cincinnatian once a year for many years now. I am always impressed with their cleanliness, service and willingness to help with their clients needs. The cricket bar is a good hang as well. I will return again and again.

Nice Hotel
I spent most of my time there sleeping, but the room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I ate dinner at the Cricket Lounge. Good food, good beer, excellent service from the bar tender.

Checked in with no troubles although the signage to find my room was lacking. I was thrilled to find a whrilpool tub in my bath!

Would Gladly Stay There Again
Great hotel and excellent service. Near some great restaurants and convenient to the federal courthouse. Didn't try the restaurants in the hotel. Didn't care for the shower head. Beautiful well finished baths, but the shower wouldn't adjust to a suitable spray.

Great place AND value
Firednly courteous staff from the doorman to the concierge. Moderately priced hotel bar and restaurant, and very flexible with last minute details. When I needed to arrange a conference room with apps and drinks for a few people later in the night and on short notice, they responded as if it was no problem and immediately. Room was more than adequate, with a small balcony overlook this atrium, a great view if you dont mind looking down the 8 stories.

Stay at the Cincinnatian
This is the third time I stayed here for work. The Cincinnatian is a well-situated hotel with a well trained staff. It's extremely convenient to the US Court of Appeals; with the many nearby restaurants open past 8:00, it is a convenient place to stay.
