great family getaway
The hotel service was good in general, easy access by subway and bus. It was close to 3 shopping centers, supermarkets, laundry, doctors, dinners, etc. You had almost every you need close to the hotel just walking around the corner. But it would be great tha in a near future that the hotel consider to have available with the wi fi service they provide already, a computer with a printer in the lobby , not everyone travels with their laptops or has a smart phone . Finally the breakfast has to be improve, more variety every day like toast, cold cuts a small microwave to warm a little bit the muffins the serve.

You can get by subway or by bus in just minutes to the shopping centers.The bus Q60 leaves in front of the hotel. Thats fantastic

Very Good
The hotel over all was wonderful. It was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. If they had a snack bar or a microwave or refridgerator so you wouldnt have to worry about you food getting spoiled or having to buy non-perishable items would of been great. Other than that my stay was beyond incredible .

Buses stop right in front of the hotel and the subway isnt such a far walk. And short walks to the stores.

What we expected
My wife and I didn't plan on spending much time in the hotel. How often are you in NYC, after all? The howard johnson was perfect for this. Nice and cheap and near the subway.

Great Location for Cheaper Price
The Inn was at a walkable distance from the Subway. If you are visiting Manhattan then this is a very good location to stay. The Subway is 5 mins walk from the location. The rooms are not very big but I guess in big cities for better rooms you have to pay more as well.Overall a decent hotel with great location.

Simple & Clean
We needed a place to stay overnight at a fair price and this is exactly what we got. A small room with an oldish AC, working TV and a very clean bathroom. If need be would stay again but will try my luck with something different next time.

slept and watched tv only thing missing was a small fidge or microwave but u dont need either b/c theres small store less then a mile in every direction it was just as good or better than any other trip iv ever taken

Ok for the price
My daughter was interviewing with a company. This hotel was ok, but I would have preferred that the rooms were a little larger and included a microware or some other amenities. On the inital night after seeing the room, I wanted to change from a l double bed room to a suite with 2 separate beds. However, I was informed that the suites were for smoking individuals.

This hotel was not what I expected for the price, I have used Orbits before & received good value for my money. This time I was not pleased.
