Pretty good family getaway
Good location for New-York. Close to subway for sightseeing Manhattan. Good budget place for family vacation.

One night stay in town-Business
In the past, I have stayed at the Howard Johnson Inn but this was the first time I stayed at an express one. It was very small and the front desk was behind bulletproof glass which was a little concerning. The room was ok but I would much prefer the regular Howard Johnson than this express one. It was not worth the $125.00 for the night, it should've been much cheaper. Plus* it was not too far from the 7 train which takes you into Manhattan in 20minutes

Average location
Theh location was ok, certainly not convenient, viz a viz places to eat. The location was surrounded by carbody workshops, detailing workshops, etc. In such a location, there needs to be a restaurant on site, BUT REASONABLE enough for the residents to eat there.

Spring Break
The hotel was clean but a little expensive for the location. The staff is rude and helpless.

great family getaway
The hotel service was good in general, easy access by subway and bus. It was close to 3 shopping centers, supermarkets, laundry, doctors, dinners, etc. You had almost every you need close to the hotel just walking around the corner. But it would be great tha in a near future that the hotel consider to have available with the wi fi service they provide already, a computer with a printer in the lobby , not everyone travels with their laptops or has a smart phone . Finally the breakfast has to be improve, more variety every day like toast, cold cuts a small microwave to warm a little bit the muffins the serve.

You can get by subway or by bus in just minutes to the shopping centers.The bus Q60 leaves in front of the hotel. Thats fantastic

Okay for price. Okay for New York.
We were shocked at the size of the bedroom. With the queen bed, there is space only for one person to move sideways around the 3 sides of the bed. And, they still have stone-age TV.

Very Good
The hotel over all was wonderful. It was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. If they had a snack bar or a microwave or refridgerator so you wouldnt have to worry about you food getting spoiled or having to buy non-perishable items would of been great. Other than that my stay was beyond incredible .

Buses stop right in front of the hotel and the subway isnt such a far walk. And short walks to the stores.

What we expected
My wife and I didn't plan on spending much time in the hotel. How often are you in NYC, after all? The howard johnson was perfect for this. Nice and cheap and near the subway.

Great Location for Cheaper Price
The Inn was at a walkable distance from the Subway. If you are visiting Manhattan then this is a very good location to stay. The Subway is 5 mins walk from the location. The rooms are not very big but I guess in big cities for better rooms you have to pay more as well.Overall a decent hotel with great location.
