Everything about the room was great except the HVAC unit was noisy and kept shutting off, it was very hard to sleep even with the ear plugs in. Another issue was the breakfast food was cold and very limited in selection and was more like a continental breakfast than a hot one. Next time I will try the Hampton Inn next door especially since it was the same price.

CLEAN, NEWER HOTEL - GREAT LOCATION
WIth my son set to deploy and wanting to visit him I selected this Holiday Inn Express Hotel because it was NEWER and close to Ft. Drum. It did not disappoint and I will stay there again. Also, the manager ([...]) was very polite and kind. I really appreciated her assistance.

Hotel Staff helpful
The Holiday Inn Express was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. On our frist night we had a problem with the room smelling like setting water and our Jacuzzi didn't work.They came right up and fix it .The bed was very comfortable! The bath was nice and big they have a shower witch I think they should have a seat in for us older people other than that our stay was very nice they have three restaurants in the same parking lot and a Mall just down the road.

Spa like, beautiful room!
The King room my husband and I stayed in was very comfortable and clean. It had a spa like atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable! The room had a digital thermostat that was easy to operate, something that always seems to be an issue at other hotels I've stayed at. The location is near many restaurants and it's right off the express way so you can't miss it. Going to Alexandria Bay only takes apprx 20 minutes. Sacketts Harbor was about 15 mins. My husband and I went White Water rafting with the Hudson River Rafting Company. The launch is about 5 mins away on Black River, (Very Fun!!) I highly recommend staying at this hotel, the staff is great, the hotel is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. OH! And the shower is AWESOME!
