- In April 2008 the latest chapter in the long and storied history of the Biddle Mansion was written with the addition of Cellar 49-A Tavern at the Mansion. The creation of Cellar 49 uncovered long hidden features of the mansion, which have been incorporated into the dcor. Key-stoned brick archways, rugged granite columns, and distressed wood beams set the stage. The centerpiece of this restaurant is a private dining room set right within the wine cellar itself. From prime aged steaks and burgers to an assortment of conversation-starting 'flights' and sharing platters of everything from appetizers to desserts - Cellar 49 is the perfect place for friends and colleagues to unwind over a great meal, paired with your favorite beverage. As our name implies, wines will be a focal point of Cellar 49. We also feature a wide variety of bottled and tap beers including great small batch local brews from right here in the Hudson Valley.

Relaxing and Pleasant
The Room was very clean and reasonable size. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent at their restaurant. We only were at the hotel for one day but would have definitely stayed more if we had the time.

"Lovely"
The Tarrytown House Estate and Conference center was just lovely. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was a little small, but the beds, pillows were unsurpassable. Every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to go. The grounds are lovely. A short drive to Tarrytown train station- meter parking - took the train into the city. Very convenient, the town of Tarrytown is adorable. Would love to go again!

Beautiful Escape
Nicely maintained facility. Comfortable room. Helpful staff. Breakfast hours need to start earlier. Rooms need luggage rack. Gorgeous location.

Cold in Tarrytown
Fair, could be better
We just stayed overnight but the room was cold and took a while to warm up. The hallways were super cold and never did warm up. Exercise room was great and so was pool. It was a beautiful place right on water but everything was a little to spread out. It might be nicer in the summertime. But then you wonder if the air conditioning system would be sufficient because some of the units in the windows did not look to good.

Peaceful beauty on the Hudson River
This was a magical place. The gardens, pool, gorgeous old mansions (several on the property), newer accomodations and staff were just fabulous! A lovely place for a wedding or family gathering or just a place to get some R&R... and the sound of crickets pur you to sleep! I would love to go back whenever I have a chance again.

We have stayed at Tarrytown House
We have stayed at Tarrytown House Estate & Conference Center a number of times in the summer and fall. The grounds are large and attractive, great for kids. The pricing is fair and reasonable - an ok value but not cheap.
