Ramada Limited Syracuse - University/Carrier Circle

Woman at front desk,???? INTERESTING!!! The room SMELLED, old and musty, bathroom shower was dirty and had mold and mildew.. TV most all stations didnt even work. Vending machines EMPTY couldnt even get a drink!!! WILL NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN

The room was smaller than I expected but it was overall a good hotel. Staff is very friendly. The only bad thing is that there is no parking in the area and parking cost $30 a night.

I expected more from Ramada, the furnishings were ok/dated, maid service was fine but this room backed up to a truck park and there were 18 wheelers 24 hrs a day dropping off/picking up right outside the window, noise! The bedding was something to be desired, very cheap w/burn holes in the mattress, unknown bits of things residing under the cheap 1/2 blanket "mattress pad" and the sheets were put on inside-out. No better than a cheap motel 6. If I were to return to the area I would choose another place.

This hotel was [*] nasty. The room did not appear to be very clean. Who knows when the last time the grungy blanket on the bed was washed. The room was freezing cold when I arrived. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and I am a pretty tolerant sleeper. I woke up with an achy hip which is very unusual for me because I am a fit, 27 year old male. In fact I got a better night's rest in the drivers seat of my Honda Civic at a truck stop the following night. That's how horrible the bed was. The linens were very old and worn and looked nasty. The bath tub was also nasty and grungy. The old man at the desk was rather unpleasant too. The breakfast was acceptable-bananas oatmeal and waffles. I would not recommend this hotel unless you were able to get it for $20/night.

It's called the Ramada Limited for a reason, there wasn't even a pad of paper to write on. Basic, basic, basic. The hallway smelled, my door looked like an eclipse of the sun, broken floor tiles in the bathroom, missing grout on the bathroom floor. The place needs an up grade

It was Parent Weekend at Syracuse, and e booked late. The fact that this hotel had rooms available should tell you something. . . We booked a "King Suite," and upon arrival, we had a king bed and a refrigerator in a small alcove. Upon walking past other rooms, some had drapes open, and we saw actual suites -- one room w/ a sofa, the other with a bed, and I asked about it at the front desk. After much discussion, I was told that we had the "one room suite, not the two room suite." Um, a suite means 2+ rooms - hello? Since there was no room for our daughter, we asked for a cot. I asked at 2:30, again at 8:00, and the cot arrived around 10:00. We were told that the manager "had to go to another Ramada to pick up a cot." I guess this could be considered *good* service, then? This morning while drying my hair, the power went out. It sounded like a common occurrence -- must've blown a fuse -- as they had it back on in 5 minutes. Bottom line - if you need a place to stay, this will do. But don't expect any extras beyond a bed. There was one positive: Joey's and Pronto Joey's are right next door. Yummy, yummy, yummy food!

Everything was great, got an upgrade on my room due to some ppl not checking out on time. The nite time desk clerk was a little annoyed about having to make an extra card key. Mine got wiped clean somehow and he just seemed annoyed about having to make one for me. But other than that it was a great hotel and i would reccomend it to anyone.

overnight before flying to NY City. Good location; good restaurant nearby.

this hotel served the purpose of a place to sleep while visiting my daughter at college. Transportation to the campus was not offered and the cab fare would have been better applied to a closer, cleaner, and more friendly hotel.
