Taking its cues from nature, the queen room delights with vibrant punches of color, pattern, and texture. The contemporary bathroom, with its walk in shower, provides a soothing spa-like refuge. No two rooms are alike try them all and then ask for your favorite when you visit the next!
2_Storey - Suite

so so experience

Hotel was beautiful, but room which was advertised as a suite was not much larger than a regular the rom. But bed was comfortable at all. Way too soft. View was of a parking lot and window was tiny. Not worth the price at all.

A great place to get away.

From the moment you walk in the door, the staff is friendly and helpful. The eco friendly hotel is close to all the action of downtown with the amenities of a high class resort. It was worth every penny.

Nice new hotel in great location

Nice boutique hotel in great location - close to Syracuse campus. The lobby area was very nice, with an interesting bar and great design. Easy walk to Syracuse University. Also pretty easy to get to from Rt. 90, which we were on - really just passing through. Not meaning to spend time in Syracuse.

Faegan's Irish pub was good - unfortunately they stop serving food at 8:00 pm. Quite early for a traveller.

The Only Place To Stay in Syracuse

Exceptionally well-designed & run hotel. We now stay here every time we pass through Syracuse on our way to the Adirondacks. We are used to staying in 5 star hotels & this is the closest thing to one in Syracuse. Suite was spacious & clean. Ditto bathroom. Very quiet. Very reasonably priced. Staff very courteous. Good assortment of healthy food items in lobby. Returning again in August.

Character

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Skyler. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed that the hotel had character and wasn't just another cookie cutter mega chain. I also appreciate the fact that the hotel really seems to care about the environment and sustainability. I did not like the breakfast situation. The so-called coffee was behind the bar and you had to order it from the bartender. I think that it was complimentary but I lost patience after waiting around for 10 minutes to be served. Just let us serve ourselves the free coffee, OK? For the price we were paying, I think that there should have been readily available free coffee and maybe even some pastries etc. If Best Western can do it, why not Hotel Skyler?

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

The Mission is a Mexican restaurant in a converted church. The food was good and the atmosphere was excellent.
