Near everything
Great location in the center of the town, if that is what you are looking for. Can be very noisy, both from the street noises, and/or the inconsiderate patrons who talk in the wee hours of the night, with no regard for others. Not good circulation in the room, due to the setup of the rooms. Breakfast very minimal with little healthy food available. Street people sitting on chairs on the front porch. Nice staff, clean room (old), beds a little hard, nice to have refrig and cable. Close to everything in the town, if that's what you are looking for.

Perfect location, clean & comfortable
I stayed here for 2 reasons: 1) proximity to downtown (as in, it is right in the middle of downtown); 2) price - it was 1/2 the cost of any other hotel in Saratoga proper. I have to admit, I expected it to be pretty run down and gross. Much to my surprise, it was clean, comfortable, and staffed by several friendly folks. One note - whispers only after 10pm in the hallways, so when you stumble in drunk and noisy at 3am, don't be surprised if you get yelled at :)

adequate lodgings in great location
Rooms were squeaky clean and staff very friendly. Perfect location for enjoying downtown Saratoga Springs and close to Skidmore College.

Great inexpensive hotel in Saratoga Springs
I usually stay in more upscale hotels, but I wanted something inexpensive and this place was great. The room was clean and well furnished. The breakfast was much better than I expected. The one downside of this place is that it is an old motel and not particular well insulated, so it is easy to hear noises outside the room. But people were pretty quiet so this was not a problem. Ask for a room on the inside, which has a nice courtyard and is away from the street.

no place for a grown up
This place was VERY noisy and full of young drunk people. I was unable to sleep well because I was woken up many times by the level of noise from other guests. It seemed like a party place not a place for a business person who wanted to sleep. On a good note, the manager did agree to refund me one nights stay for the inconvenience but even then I can not recommend this hotel and I would never stay there again

One Night Stay Don
Location and Value
I booked this hotel for 1 night for my stay in Saratoga Springs. I planned to enjoy myself with the nightlife, so I wanted something where I wouldn't need to bother with taxi's and driving. The location was Perfect. It was very close to many great places. Needless to say, I slept past the time for breakfast, so I cannot comment with that. Slept very well, however. The room had all the basic necessities. The bathroom needed some maintenance such as grout, caulk, paint, etc. The water pressure for he shower was fabulous. Towels and sheets were very clean. Overall, great price for the location and not wanting to pay more for fancier hotels. Will stay here again, as long as the price remains as well.

The motel is right in the middle of downtown, so everything is in walking distance. Rooms are nothing fancy, but the price is right!
