Didn't make the cut
I didn't feel the lobby staff was very friendly. I have stayed at the Marriott chain numerous times in the past and have never had any problems, but toenails on the carpet floor and dirty bathroom? That's a problem.

Good location
The Courtyard Marriott in Saratoga is a nice hotel with a good location in terms of ease to downtown. It's a short walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping. The hotel is clean and maintained nicely. It has a nice sitting area in the lobby that is connected to the hotel bar. We had an after-dinner drink at the hotel bar and the bartender was attentive without being overbearing. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff was pleasant. For the short stay, the hotel worked well for us.

great stay
this marriott property runs in the finest tradition of the Marriott chain. the staff was friendly and helpful. the resturant served a good breakfast. the rooms were fine and well appointed to someone with a laptop needing to do some work. the houskeeping staff was polite and accomodating.
