nice standard hotel

This hotel was fine for the price, nothing special though. It's a bit out of the way from town, and although the room was perfectly neat and clean, it was nothing to write home about. The staff, however, were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and that made up for the lackluster room. I didn't even bother with the breakfast, which was standard hotel fare. Nice to have coffee available though. All in all it was fine, just not great.

Scallions is a good restaurant in Saratoga Springs, as well as Uncommon grounds for an inexpensive breakfast or lunch. Great bagels! Good soup.

Will stay again

This hotel was in a great location for what we needed. Will stay again when we are in the area. The only downside was that there are no refridgerators in the room that aren't suites.

Racing Weekend

Hotel is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Great beds, furnishings, brand new TVs, and lots of hot water. The continental breakfast included in the room price was perfectly adequate and included scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffle station, etc. We spent only one night in Saratoga to go the race track, and chose this hotel because they did not have a 2 (or 3) night minimum on the holiday weekend. It suited our needs perfectly.

Great location, nice breakfast and clean

Easy to locate and convinient to local attractions. We found the room to be well kept and comfortable. Everything worked. Complimentary breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. It also shares a huge parking lot with a well known family restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall, a great place to stay.

There was a 10% discount certificate for the Golden Coral Restaurant which shares the same parking lot. Register first and then go to eat.

Clean, relaxing and restful getaway

Near lots of shopping and restaurants, as well as the interstate; clean, affordable with a good hot breakfast; the pool was a little small, but the staff was friendly, kind and extremely helpful

over all... a good experiance

I was in town to offer support to a family member that was ill. I was looking forward to a swim in the evening after spending all day at the hospital. I was informed that the pool was not chemically balanced to swim in. The problem was not resolved while I was a guest.

Exemplary Service

Top-notch front desk staff and service - friendly, helpful and well-informed. Always welcomed with a smile. Provide me with distilled water for my CPAP. Knowledgeable about local dining and directions. Room was quite and clean. All-in-all, a very pleasant experience.

Not bad for the price

Hotel was convenient to Skidmore and shopping areas. Breakfast buffet was sparse, only scrambled eggs, hockey puck sausage and a few cereal choices.
