motel 6 in Rochester

I would never recomend this hotel to anyone who needs sleep or doesn't do drugs. The regulars that stay there are load and abnoctious. People play loud music and do drugs outside this hotel all night long.

Dishonest Staff - Stay Away!!

On reaching the hotel at 2 AM, I was to told that the receptionist had double-booked the room and that there were no rooms, though I had a reservation.

Nightmare in Rochester

I liked this motel due to it's closeness to Rochester Airport. That's where it ends. The toilet in the room didn't flush all of the time, there was no refrigerator in the room to keep drinks & food cold and the bed was hard as a rock and I didn't get a good night's sleep. Also,I had asked for a 5am wake up call and that call came 20 minutes late, which almost made me late for my flight. I informed the overnight clerk of this and he showed no concern whatsoever. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Terrible condition

No hot water, no shampoo, no cup for drink……., it has nothing in the room except 2 pieces of bar soap. We had been switched from Non-smoking room ordered into this smoking room due to other client insisted non-smoking room in ahead of us(? we were told). Don't know exactly what the client requested. We almost choked by the terrible smoking smell. We will never book this motel again.

The good/bad

there was alot of party-people at this hotel. especially during the weekend. also alot of loud people in the halls. i would not recomend this hotel if your looking for a relaxing experience.

The Good and Bad, Ugly

The room was clean, The Bathroom, Tub, Had hair,all over Toilet, seat was Falling off, No Trash can, in Bathroom. Hallway Rug was Dirty,( Blue carpet),and House Keeping Left Full Trash Bags (Two) in Hall way

So-so. . .

I arrived at the same time the police did, responding to a disturbance. The hallways were smoky, my linens stained and the shower dripped. Economical, but not something to write home about.

Visit the National Museum of Play in Rochester. This has got to be a lot of fun--especially for families (or the "young at heart"!).

you get what you pay

The price says what you get. I paid around $135 for 2 nights and I thought I should have gotten more for that kind of money. They should offer a breakfast in the morning. They don't have a pool so not good for a family.
