Prefect for a stop over
Room was clean and staff was nice. Easy to get to from I-87. Thermostat seemed to be broken as the temp stayed at 61 degrees which is very cold for January temps.

Short drive from hotel
Village of lake george very close to hotel, there is a trolley that runs, and it will pick up and drop off in front of hotel, check the schudle for times....

Not the nicest place
The outside looked nice when we first got there, but the staff at the desk were not very friendly. The hallways in the hotel outside and in were dirty, there was garbage and old cigarette butts on a table by the entrance for the 3 days we were there. A dirty sock in front of the housekeeping door and garbage on the stairs going up to the room. Our room while looking clean smelled horrible when we got there. There was huge cracks in the wall where the wall was crumbling. We were not supplied sufficient towels. When we asked the attendant in the front for more we got attitude. Over all it was a place to sleep but we won't be returning there when we go back to the area. Feel we paid too much for what we received.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at!
I have stayed at Red Roof Inns before. No complaints. This hotel claimed to be renovated. Yes, from the outside. Nice siding. Was put in a smoking room. Asked to be moved. Told there were no rooms available. At the check in desk, the clerk handed me an electric air freshener and was told it would work to cover the smell in a few hours. My clothing and other personal belongings smelled like stale smoke. Needed to be immediately washed. I will never stay at this hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone. Not even a smoker.

Just a place to sleep
was on a motorcycle trip-- no continental breakfast-- would have booked at other hotel I stayed at last time if I could.

Good place to rest your head
The Red Roof Inn, Queensbury was comfortable and did the job for a place to sleep. If I was planning a vacation to the Lake George Area and was actually going to spend much time in the hotel I would probably stay somewhere else. It did the job for our family holiday. No one was at the front desk when I got there to check in - had to wait at least 5-minutes to get help. The room was 58degrees when we checked in - it should have been warmer since they knew people were checking in that day.
