Out of the way hotel
The hotel description made it sound as if it has a wonderful view. However, it is an ordinary hotel with a view of the parking lot. There is a free, cold breakfast that was fresh daily. The hotel is distant from restaurants, shopping, and evening entertainment. The room was large and comfortable. The Internet worked fine with two devices. It seemed expensive for the area without the amenities that would make it worth the cost.

Great road trip stay
Great staff! Made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Beautiful view from the back veranda of the stream. Had a nice continental breakfast watching the geese and ducks. Room was a bit small....there were three of us and had requested a roll-away cot but two choose to share a bed since the cot would not have fit comfortably in the room. But the beds were very comfortable! So good night sleep for all.

Pub on intersecting street at light had basic fare. Nothing special. Don't recommend getting the Reuben...tough pastrami. Floor in ladies restroom in great need of repair.

I didn't ask for a handicap room!!
My room was like a cave! Very dark and on the parking lot. And it was a handicap room. Something that I did not ask for. When I asked to be moved I was told that they couldn't do anything for me, that Obitz had put me in that room. I got the impression that if I had made my reservation directly I would have gotten a better room.

no hot water
no hot water! and no apologies or courtesies - curt response from front desk. peeling, rusty bathtub. feel that there should be some sort of refund when one is unable to bathe during one's stay.

Great clean rooms, amazing views!
My girlfriend and I stayed when we worked in the area and for the price we were really impressed with this hidden treasure! The staff was helpful finding us a great dinner location, the falls out back are an amazing view, they have a local selection of wine which was delicious, and the continental breakfast was up to par! Overall we want to come back soon! I hope our travels bring us back sooner than later!

Good Place to Explore the Area From
The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful. It isn't anything fancy, but if you just need a place to crash while you explore the area (parks, Dia: Beacon, Storm King), this is a great place to use as your base.
