Days Inn And Suites Plattsburgh

This place works out well for us. We've stayed here before and will stay here again. The place is clean and friendly, and the staff very accommodating. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but a good value for us.

Our family regularly stays at this hotel and so far we have had positive visits every time. Our rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. This particular stay we did encounter a couple of minor issues, but nothing that would prevent us from returning...one of the beds had a fairly large sink hole in the center of the mattress (but they did ask if it was ok and if not said they would move us): and there was no ironing board or iron in the room, which was bearable but I didn't have time to call down and request one so a last minute wardrobe change was needed. Their breakfast is great - decent variety and good eats. The only thing I dread is the dining room is SO SO tiny! So when it's a busy breakfast, it is cramped and a tad frustrating. They could definitely use to make that area larger. Lastly, the hotel is in a great location as far as being close to restaurants and shopping. Easiest to drive to where you want to go, but doable by foot if necessary.

I love my stay at the hotel. There was alway hot coffee and the hot tub in the pool are was great... I also enjoyed have a gym to work out in..

The only problem was we would hear the doors slamming every time someone entered, or closed their doors.

For the price it was a good hotel. The only problem was, you can hear the slamming of the doors everytime someone would open or close their doors.

Many hotels in the area discriminate against smokers. Days Inn welcomed us and treated us with respect. It was extremely nice to be able to relax and smoke in your room. I find it extremely disrespectful to make paying guest go outside in the cold to have a smoke. We respect non-smokers rights and we are extremely delighted Days Inn respected ours. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't say enough nice things about the respect they give their paying customers and no the hotel does not smell like smoke. Also has a indoor pool and hot tub and continental breakfast. Very relaxing. Great value.

Checked in early with absolutely no problem. Greeted witth a smile and cheery receptionist. A very serviceable location. It was what we needed, no more no less for a couple on the road looking for a one night stay. Decent continental breakfast.

The Hotel was not to far from my daughters college which was great. Excellent shopping and dining area location as well.

Poor plumbing in bathroom...ie toilet clogged 2x after repeated attempts to fix it. Broken tub drain. Pool had enough chlorine to burn your eyes out. Soda machines kept spitting out my dollars. Enough said. A dingy looking hotel. Needs some improvements. Would not stay there again. Breakfast spread was ok for a quick bite and go.

Location is good but the place needs maintanance, while facility and furniture does not seem to be that old place does not look in good condition.
