The Budget Inn Canajoharie is located in the city of Palatine Bridge, across the bridge from Canajoharie with easy access to the New York State Thruway. You will find shopping and dining options within 5 blocks. The Adirondacks are a short 30 miles, and Albany is less than 60 miles. The Budget Inn has plenty of free parking, and each room features 1 queen bed or 2 double beds, microwave, mini fridge, alarm clock / radio, cable TV, electronic door locks and air conditioning. Limited front desk hours of 7am to 11pm daily.

Motel gone to seed.

This property once had an AAA approval and lost it. Management has been taken over by an immigrant family who do not care very much about hospitality or amenities. The location is in the verdant Mohawk valley, overlooking rolling hills but also the noise of the NY State Thruway and a busy railroad. The trains ran all night and were sometimes audible even over the air conditioning.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a wonderful pizzeria in the town of Canajoharie, a drive of just a few minutes. There are few if any places to eat in Palatine Bridge. The Arkell museum and library, in Canajoharie, though small, should not be missed, the same is true for Canajoharie's Wintergreen Park, which has a beautiful gorge and waterfall.
