Economical Housing
Very pleasant owner. Nice, simple room. Air/Heat control very convenient and comfortable. I'm not fond of flat sheets as bottom sheets but that was my only disappointment.

Niagara Falls, NY Travelodge Motel
The motel is a 1960's style motel although average the motel was clean. The staff are hard working, and polite but struggling with communication using the English language. The breakfast room opens at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM but I was able to get the desk clerk to open the Breakfast room for me at 7:30 AM. the breakfast is basically a minimaal contental breakfast. The motel uses a keycard system so you have enhanced security., the motel is convenient to the Niagara Falls airport, and about 15 minute cab ride to the Amtrak station., and about 5 miles from the Falls at Prospect Point.

Not worth the money
The wifi did not work, and the staff was not helpful at all with fixing it. Had a random person pound on our door at 1 am. The hotel needs major tlc.

Good for what we needed....
Booked this hotel because it was close to Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls and we wanted to check out the Black Friday sales. It was VERY reasonably priced compared to other hotels for this particular weekend. We basically only slept and showered in the room and the rest of the time we shopped, so for that purpose it was fine. We only had one incident with the hot water in the room, but after phoning the front desk, they took care of the problem in less than 30 minutes. The only other thing I didn't like is that it's a motel, where it's all on one floor and your car is right outside the door to your room. I suppose I should have known that going in, but I couldn't tell from the photos! Also, "breakfast included" means bagels, coffee and muffins......!!

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
The woman at the desk could not speak English very well. We asked for directions and she could not give them. You need someone who can speak English to represent TRAVELODGE. This was very upsetting when you are trying to find your way around a new area. Towels were like sandpaper.

Noisy, but convenient
Convenient to local tourist spots, but on noisy main drag. Rooms are small, but adequate. Rooms are non-smoking so neigbors smoke right outside their door, which is right outside your door. Outside noises (talking, traffic) very noticeable. Wireless internet is EXTREMELY slow!

Good neighborhood which is hard to find in the area. stay away from the hotels right by the falls. The neighborhood is scarry on the US side. Go to Canada if you want to check out the falls

Look Around First
Very basic. Doors face street and parking area. Pool bathtub sized and out of order. No trying at all for a decent breakfast--very poor. Clean enough and bathroom was remodeled. Long drive (5 miles) to the falls. -- Price was right at $50 a night, so what can you say. Wife says, spend more next time.

Good basic accommodations...
Recommended for the traveler looking for an inexpensive place to sleep and shower. The room was reasonably clean. The sink did not have a vanity or countertop, just a wash basin located in the carpeted area outside the bathroom. (Seemed odd) Several fast food restaurants are located within a few blocks of the hotel. Decent enough room for the price. I would recommend.
