Wonderful Hotel and fantastic service

Great rooms with secured gated parking. Free shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. Really nice complimentary breakfast! Bacon, sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, waffles and pastries. All your juices and milk. The staff was overly accommodating to our every need. A wonderful experience for us! We highly recommend this hotel that is only a 8 minute walk from the Falls.

Lovely, modern boutique room.

A last-minute booking and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff were friendly and thoroughly accommodating. Not a "budget" stay, but worth every penny.

Wine on Third is the best! Just a short walk from the Giacomo and highly recommended to try a few tapas to share and a few glasses of wine. All we tried were excellent - especially the scallop and corn and risotto. Good selection of wines by the glass. Our most enjoyable dinner while in Niagara Falls!

Overpriced

For what you get, this hotel is very overpriced. First, they need to realize that they are located in Niagara, not NYC, where paying this price for a hotel might be acceptable because of all the things you are able to access. Niagara does not have that much to offer and neither does the hotel. The lobby and bar (wine and beer only) are beautiful and the room is decorated wonderfully but it is very small. Breakfast is included and pretty good but what you see is what you get. Staff were cordial but not outgoing. The doorman smoked as he opened the door for us to enter--tacky. The valet parking was cramped because the location where you park to valet your car is also the location where people are moving in and out of the apartments that are housed there. (Never had to contend with moving vans when valeting my car before.) My suggestion is that if you really want to spend time on the American side of the falls, get a hotel in Canada where there are more options and you will pay less. Then jump in your car and drive to or walk to the American side. I would never stay her again unless they lower their price by about half of what they are currently asking.

Good and not so good!

Great location to the falls! No restaurant but decent breakfast area. Cheesy electric fireplace...... Don't pay the extra for this! Our room didn't have hot water the first morning. We informed the front desk who assured us maintenance would "adjust it". The second morning we only had warm water if we ran the sink too. Funny adjustment!! Gated parking lot for cars was nice.

Very friendly boutique hotel steps from Maid of the Mist. Provides a nice reprieve from the inevitable crowds at the Falls. Staff was very eager to please. Art-Deco era building with craming details preserved. Recommended.

Over the top at the Giacomo

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. From room cleanliness to location. Best breakfast on earth. Free parking including Valet. Jet spa and awesome robes. Complimentary coffee and bottle water in room. Excellent lookout lounge on the nineteenth floor. Desk person (Joy) was very helpful.. I had a couple of minor issues but they can be addressed at another time. More like a 4 star hotel.....I could walk to everything at the falls in 15 minutes or less. This hotel is 3 minutes from the culinary institute and other fine dining.

Excellent Hotel

From the moment I checked in, the staff was wonderful. Joy helped us out with an upgrade to ta suite at no extra charge. My son was thrilled to have his own TV. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. I am not sure how as I rarely saw a housekeeper. The view from the 19th floor is great for watching the fireworks. Definitely will stay here again.
