Filthy
When we rolled back the sheets to get into bed, it was obvious someone else had slept in the bed and the sheets had not been changed. There was something crusty (???!!!) all over the sheets and they were wrinkled in a way that looked as if someone had slept in them. I went to the desk to get clean sheets. When I got to the room, the desk attendant had given me two top sheets. At check-out, I was not asked about our stay. So I told the clerk we were not pleased. She ignored my comments and said a weak - sorry, then turned away in dismissal. I will never stay at a Days Inn again!!!!!

Unhappy in the Falls
Niagara Falls Nightmare
The hotel is in need of some serious work. Very rough appearance. Room was kind of clean. Toilet ran all the time. No hot water in the shower. Tried it at night and then again in the morning. No fitted sheet on the bed so the bottom sheet kept coming off. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Indoor pool was empty.

Lower than average
Convenient location, friendly staff but dirty and old furniture in rooms, dirty corridors, old elevators (you are not sure if you will arrive, make strange noises), a bit noisy (construction in the back yard), awful wi-fi coverage of the room.

Beware
The hotel and Denny's downstairs all have an odor to them...just musty and unclean smelling. After resigning ourselves to spend one night there since it was very late we settled in our room, I had hoped to grab something at Denny's downstairs but chose my sanitary bottle of water and pack of crackers. The area outside the window had plenty of drunks from the casino shouting, shady people milling about and sirens at night and was more scenic around 7am when the construction crews started banging. In a surpising twist the one pleasant part was fairly friendly staff... not friendly enough to make up for the uncleanness of it al though...

I can't believe they get away with it!!!
I can't believe they get away with being open, with the prices they charge. Half a mile away, on the Canadian side, they charge you less and the quality is ten times better. They should not even have a star. In addition, their staff was incredibly rude. The only friendly people we met in the hotel were the other tourists. I have traveled to many locations, many outside of US but I have not encountered such a bad display. I was embarrassed that this situation was possible in the US. I would have understood if this was possible in a third world country, but not in the US and in such a big tourist destination. Very disappointing

The hotel is walking distance to the falls and the seneca casino. That is the only thing it has going for it. Firstly there's an entrance to Dennys in the lobby. The lobby was packed with people coughing and looked like a hospital waiting room upon arrival. The elevator buttons were all broken and the carpet was soaked with god knows what... The elevators and hallways smelt like death. The bedding was starchy to the consistency of cardboard and i got a weird rash from using the bath towel. They even demanded my room keys upon checkout. Also the parking garage looked like world war 3, scattered with tons of trash and about 200 used mattresses and other abandoned hotel furniture. My girlfriend laughed at the fact that miraculously my car was still there and undamaged upon departure This hotel was absolutely disgusting and I am ashamed to have stayed there.

Quite Sad hotel!!
bad customer service. Rooms are in quite a sad state, Batroom was not that clean, with exhaust fan not working!! But one interesting part was, one staff member did certainly tried help us getting a better room and tried this on his computer atleast for 15-20 minutes. But could not get us a better room saying, my booking is done through Orbitz (pre-paid reservation) and he cannot update it to other room type. mentioned me that orbitz is the problem!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE unless its $30 or less
Hotel lobby as you walk in is very shall we say shabby. Furniture is all very tired and somewhat dirty, knicked up and just plain tired. Checkin was fast but hotel charged card $25 for incidentals. We got in the smelly old elevator and it sounded as it would not make it to the 4th floor. Got to the 4th floor and paint was peeling on walls, carpeting was worn badly and it smelled heavily of smoke. Light bulb out when flipping switch at door. Room smelled heavily of smoke. Again furniture very worn...but beds were clean and fairly comfy. Careful with small children as we were 4 floors up and large windows open full width and children and adults could fall out if bumped! Bathtub had cobwebs above it, and bottom of tub was dirty and peeling, not sure why. I wouldn't even get in shower. Also the wall paper was peeling...Very old and nasty hotel. Also there were spots on the ceilings, not sure of what. Would expect better from a days inn. Have stayed at many over the years and this is the first one to leave a bad taste in our mouths. On the plus...Close to falls and attraction, 2 blocks to the casino. If we planned on being in our room more than just to sleep we would have gotten a refund and went somewhere else..but we went to a concert at casino and stayed there very late and walked back to hotel, slept and got up early to leave. Also the lounge was closed when we arrived back from hotel at midnight.
