I'll stay somewhere else next time...
This hotel is located right in the middle of the action, american side of course. It looks really old and rooms seem a little dirty and poorly equiped. The bathroom could use a few updates. No fridge or microwave available in rooms. This hotel is ok for not-too-demanding adults but would not be my recommendation for anyone traveling with children. Denny's downstairs, open 24 hrs is a plus but could serve faster and better food. Overall you get what you paid for...

Short walk from hotel
Stay away from rooms with Canadian skyline view if you like to sleep in am. Helicopter rides from across the street will get you up with such unbearable noise you'd beg for earplugs.

days inn
the staff was friendly and i forgot toothpaste and they were more than happy to give me some. only thing that i would say is that i needed an outlet for my charger and it was difficult to find one open and convenient to plug it in. More creamer for my coffee would have been nice. i enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Best value
The room matched reservation. Nobody tried to switch us to another or lesser room. The front desk seems understaffed. It did take longer to check in due to the one and only employee at the front desk having to answer the phone and wait on customers at the same time. No less than five calls had to be answered and dealt with while the check in process was taking place. We checked in at about 4pm. The hotel should have more help to lower the work load for the person at front desk. However the staff was very professional. The man at the front desk did well at multi tasking. The room was clean. The hotel does need updated. They do have a Dennys attached. However it is overpriced and not the greatest servers. The cashier was very professional and pleasant. The pool was not very good. The water seemed dirty. The cleaning staff was very pleasant. Overall I would say it was ok but not a five star experience. Value is the big key. I feel it was a great value. Therefor a person should expect some things to be less than perfect.

Visit the reception center located right on the falls and purchase the package for the attractions. You get your moneys worth. It cost $33.00 per person. Well worth it.
