Get corner room on 16th floor with a nice view of Manhattan Bridge, then the floor to ceiling window over Bowery - lots of light which is unusual for NYC hotels, medium sized. Great location in Chinatown, close to various subway stops. Friendly
The hotel is in Chinatown but very near the subway station and local bus service so it is very easy to get around. The staff were all very helpful in sorting out any problems. I had booked a 2 bedded room for my daughter and myself but the room
offered had a double bed. I think this was a problem with the booking agent rather than the hotel as the hotel sorted another room immediately although I had to pay a supplement to have 2 rooms.
The only complaint I would have for English travellers is the coffee machine which works well enough but the tea choice is only Camomile or Earl Grey which are very specific taste. We ended up paying a fortune for some English tea bags as the hotel did not have any black tea bags when asked. This is only a small complaint and would not deter me from staying here again.
They hotel was very clean. The employees were all nice. The only complaint would be that there is no door on the shower and it caused me to use extra towels to keep water from going everywhere. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
Very clean and comfortable. Attended an event at the Bowery Ballroom and it was only a couple blocks away. Very modern and looks new or newly renovated. The floor to ceilings windows provide a wonderful view of the city skyline!
