Safe, comfortable, all amenities for the business traveler
I love Club Quarters and stay at one whenever I can. The modern design has clean lines, soft colors and a nice mixture of textures. Easy, quick, self-service check-in. Comfortable lounges with fantastic expresso machines, snacks and many amenities
such as newspapers, computers and printers. There is a feeling of safety, like being in a private club.
Efficient check-in, room stocked with reading material - nice touch. The location can't be beat, a short walk to the financial district, right next to ground zero. Lots of eateries int eh area, as well as a convenience store and a Gristede's.
the whole a pleasant stay.
My partner and I stay at this hotel every time we come up and it seems that won't be changing anytime soon! The location was amazing, our room completely overlooked the entire WTC site, so we had plenty to look at each and every day.
complaint, the windows in the room seem to let in quite a bit of cold air. Now, I'm a temperature challenged individual, so I like to sleep cold, however, every once in a while it would get just a bit TOO cold in the room, especially since we were experiencing quite a heavy snow storm this past weekend. Other than that, the room, the hotel and the staff are amazing. Thank you!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
You have the entire WTC site and memorial right outside your door, not to mention various other attractions and sites within a short walking distance. Subway is very close, the Rector St station, about a block away from the hotel.
Very nice, new hotel. Some rooms have fantastic views of the new Trade Center towers & the 9/11 memorial. Rooms are small, but not cramped. It is not the most convenient to the subway at the moment (summer '13) because of construction at several
local MTA stations (this is why 4 and not 5 stars). It is, however, very convenient to the lower PATH station if you fly into Newark.
Good value and good location - literally right next to the WTC site some rooms have view looking at 1 WTC - although there is not a bellman - taxis come off of West constantly and are simple to hail - subway access within blocks .
Something was going on in NYC, and hotels were going at a premium. This hotel offered the least outrageous room rate, and was convenient to where I needed to be.
The front desk team was extremely friendly and helpful - let me leave a bag all day
before I checked in and the lobby welcome is genuine.
My room was small, but this is NYC. It was very comfortable and well appointed - free fast wifi, lot of TV channels. My only complaint would be that my room was an accessible room, so there was no defined shower, just a shower head on the wall and a curtain, so water ended up all over the bathroom and soaking the toilet paper.
Do be sure to go to the roof and see view of the 9/11 memorial.
The amenities are all very nice, clean and new. I loved the place, right above the "9/11 Memorial". It´s easy to walk around and near from the Wall St, Subways and other places.
Me and my boyfriend went to NY to spend a weekend, and inspite of the
lack of time, we could enjoy everything that NY has to offer.
