Perfect if you just want a place to sleep
Spent 5 nights at the Washington Jefferson hotel and will definitely stay there next time Read the reviews before we booked and all indicated that the rooms are small, which they are, but who stays in their room when you are in NYC! The rooms are clean and the hotel staff were very helpful. Since this is a small hotel we never had to wait for an elevator or deal with other inconviences like you do at the large hotels. Location is perfect you are right in the heart of it all,

Buy a NY City Pass, it is well worth the money. We paid $160 for the pass and would have spent almost $300 on admissions to shows, museums, tours and attractions if we would not have had the pass.

Not Impressed
-Paid for a queen bed, they gave me a full size bed. -Found a used packet of lube in the cabinet draw...gross. -Standard room size is pitiful - room was 10x8, bed was 6x5, you do the math. -At least they had 'free' wireless

Great location
It was a perfect "middle" between the busy Broadway and the classy Central Park. The room was quiet and bed was big. I think $350 a night is too much for a room anywhere, but I guess all things considered was not bad for NYC.

We loved this hotel!
Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Although the room was small, it was extremely clean! It was convenient to most broadway shows,a couple of blocks from Time Square and a one block from the subway, but on a relatively quiet street. There was only one towel rack in the bathroom and that was in the shower....needs more.

Maria Pia is directly across the street. We stopped in after Billy Elliott for the anti-pasta platter and a glass of wine, very good! Coffee, though, tasted like instant :(

This Boutique hotel is in a great
This Boutique hotel is in a great location in a residential street just off the noisy theatre district & times square. The rooms are small, some may say tiny. If travelling by yourself, the rooms are more than adequate. Couples may feel squashed. This is New York, little time is spent in hotel rooms. There is so much to do & so many places to eat at all hours in New York. The hotel offers free wi-fi, maps & guidebooks. The free wi-fi was excellent as in most bigger hotels in NY, you have to pay a small fortune for the wi-fi. Overall a great hotel, location & price.
