Hotel combining grandeur with an air of intimacy in midtown Manhattan
The Warwick Hotel in midtown Manhattan was built in 1926 and its European elegance and vintage charm provide a quiet oasis in the city. It is close to some of New York's best attractions including MoMA, Broadway and Central Park. The Warwick Hotel retains the grandeur of its past but its facilities are modern. There is a business center, fitness center, bar, and restaurant. 54 restaurant features stunning murals. Painted in 1937 by the American illustrator Dean Cromwell, they provide a visually stunning backdrop for diners. Elsewhere guests enjoy 24-hour room service in champagne and beige rooms evoking golden age of Hollywood glamour.

- Murals on 54, the hotel's refurbished dining room, features innovative continental cuisine with international influences, with a delectable menu consisting of mouth-watering fresh grilled dishes and a variety of fine seafood with strong French, Spanish and Mediterranean accents. The dining rooms' fresh design accentuates the historic murals painted by Dean Cornwell, known as the "Dean of American Illustrators." Cornwell was commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1937 to paint murals for The Raleigh Room, then the original restaurant inside this apartment hotel. These murals are now completely restored.

The hotel met my expectations
The hotel met my expectations as a convenient, friendly and clean place to stay near Central Park. The hotel restaurant, Randolph's was a reasonably priced place to eat with good quality food. Service in the hotel was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

Glad I read the reviews
My eighteen year daughter and I stayed three nights and loved it. The location was great we walked everywhere. Great Deli and coffee shops as well as Pharmacy one block over. We didn't eat at the restaurant it was too expensive for our taste but there was lots of great places within walking distance. Just a few blocks from Time Square and Central Park, try the bus tour and hop on and off almost anywhere in the city. I would stay there again and again. Walk down three blocks to 9th Ave in Hells Kitchen and eat with the locals, it's best.

Convenient Location.. Attentive Staff

This was my fifth trip to NY and the best. I stayed at Warwick for 3 days( 2 nights.) The location was perfect and, we were able to visit many places that I had missed in my previous trips. The room was cleaned, spacious and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Warwick and will be definitly back again.

First Class Hotel & Great locale
Checked in & they gave a small room but accommodated us by moving us to a larger room w/no problem w/ a Lovely King Size bed. Perfect location and quiet.

Warwick Hotel review
I was in NYC for part business and part personal reasons and was lucky to have found "a deal" for the Warick Hotel online. I never would have imagined that the rooms were so nice for the online purchase. Indeed they were. From the bellman greeting me by name and opening the door of my cab to the personal greetings from the staff everyday, my stay was First Class. The room was immaculate with beautiful bedding, marble bath and large flat screen TV. It was so wonderful to come back in the evening and be able to relax completely. The hotel is situated perfectly in the city for convenience and walking in great neighborhoods, near shopping and restaurants, although Randolph's, the Hotel's restaurant and lounge was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely try and stay there again, as I am a frequent visitor to new York.

Great Location
We just celebrated our fifth anniversary in New York and we enjoyed our stay at the Warwick. I don't know that there was anything that really set it apart from other hotels but it was definitely a great hotel. On our first night, our bath tub didn't drain properly but a quick call to the front desk fixed that rather quickly. On the morning of our departure our bill had a 9 dollar charge for a half cylinder of pringles missing from the minibar. We didn't eat the pringles and again called the front desk, and they fixed it immediately. If you are looking for a very elegant dinner The Modern is located next to the Museum of Modern Art,(which is across the street from the Warwick) and it was excellent. Now I've never spent that much money on dinner for a group of 10 much less just two of us, but when we left we were sad to go, and had no regrets whatsoever. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we would do it again.
