Meeting facilities

Meeting Info
The hotel's 7,000-square-foot function space was recently refurbished, transforming the rooms, through special touches like hand-painted frescos and English chintz, from basic to extraordinary. With a spacious central pre-function area, and all conference and banquet rooms on the same floor, companies and social guests have privacy and the luxury of the choice of a cluster of rooms that perfectly suit their room requirements.

Dining

Murals on 54
Murals on 54, the hotel's refurbished dining room, features innovative continental cuisine with international influences, with a delectable menu consisting of mouth-watering fresh grilled dishes and a variety of fine seafood with strong French, Spanish and Mediterranean accents. The dining rooms' fresh design accentuates the historic murals painted by Dean Cornwell, known as the "Dean of American Illustrators." Cornwell was commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1937 to paint murals for The Raleigh Room, then the original restaurant inside this apartment hotel. These murals are now completely restored.
Randolph's
Randolph's, a newly expanded and refurbished restaurant and lounge, is designed more like a living room than a bar, with cushy sofas and armchairs and large windows overlooking the drama along Avenue of the Americas. There's an express business lunch menu, an extensive wine list, and a bar staff with an encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails, from traditional to trendier-than-thou. Because RANDOLPH'S is situated amid the Midtown business and tourism district, it's the perfect place for a relaxed business chat or a pre- or post-theatre rendezvous.

I felt like royalty!!

Our experience was wonderful!! I felt like we had found an absolute gem. Everything we needed was taken care of promptly and efficiently. The location of this hotel is superb. Close to 5th, close to the park, great out-of-the-way eateries on the block, easy to get to the subway, a taxi, and to theatres and Times Square! I give this place two thumbs up!!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

For travelers with a time and money budget, try the deli/grocery around the corner for healthy, quick meals on the go (and that chocolate fix after the show). Its called Klein's.

Great location and room

The hotel is located in 6th ave. and it was close to everywhere. MOMA was located across the road, the next block was 5th ave. where I was able to go shopping. I was able to walk to Times Square, musical theater and Rockefeller center. Although I bought a Metro card for subway and bus, I was able to walk to most places where I wanted to go. The hotel was at one of the great location.

Great Beds and a great location!

The hotel was beautiful and historic. The room was smallish but comfortable for two female friends (two beds, one bathroom with one sink). We just went as tourists...it was a super and safe location. We walked to the theater and back, lots of great restaurants near and walking distance to many great places. It served our purposes well.

The Staff Tries Hard....But...

The Front Desk staff was extremely friendly, but the Management wasn't. None of the six elevators weren't working (three for guests--three service elevators!) and I had to bring my boxes down fourteen flights of stairs! They are also restoring the 15th floor and we stayed on the fourteenth, so the jackhammering started at 7:30! The Management was very unfriendly when they were approached with the problems!

In the heart of NYC

The Warwick is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan in walking distance of most shopping and activities. It is right around the corner from MOMA, which contributed to my decision to stay there. I was very pleased with my experience at the Warwick with the exception that I was woken up at 6:30 one morning (when I did not have to be up at that time) due to renovations in the room above mine. It sounded like the hammering and sanding were happening in my room. After calling the front desk, the manager gave me a small credit on the room for my trouble and was very apologetic, but it was still an inconvenience. If if I had not requested early check-in, which they were happy to give me by switching me to a different room (the one under the construction) then I wouldn't have had this issue-- so it's really my fault I suppose! Other than that, I would recommend the Warwick as a great hotel in a great location.

The hotel is a real "gem". Quite

The hotel is a real "gem". Quite different from all the other hotels we saw in NY. Not on the same scale (in size) as most other hotels, but much better regarding character and history. We were expecting only a small room, as we had been told that generally rooms in NY are on the small side. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room was quite large. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Warwick Hotel

[...] at the front desk and [...] the concierge were absolutely awesome. They were personable and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. They really made sure we had all the info we needed. The location was perfect. It was right on the Avenue of Americas and within walking of almost everything. With all the construction going on it was nice to be able to see the building you were staying in and it was awesome to see such a building. They had all the amenities we were looking for and everything else was exactly right around each corner. Staying at the Warwick made us feel part of the city and not off the side streets. The only draw back was the room never got cold enough for myself. And it could have just been me. I like it really cold when I travel in my room. Other than that I am definitely staying at the Warwick again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Right around the corner is the 53rd street deli...my wife has a lot of food allergies and we found this little gem of a place. Great food, fast, great mix of things. Hot/cold. Even sushi if ya want it. It was a life saver when she can only eat certain things. Also, don't be afraid to ride the subway. They are clean and easy to figure out.

The hotel staff was very kind

The hotel staff was very kind and in most cases quick. Except when we asked for electrician to bring adaptor for european appliance we must wait too long and asked twice. Breakfast staff was very quick and nice. Also the staff at hotel bar. Rooms need small refurbishments (bathroom door were damaged, wallpapers were hanging out on one spot, mirror on closet doors were damaged, windows were to heavy to open). But generally we were happy at the hotel and if the nice price and general quality will stay the same we will be the guests again in Warwick hotel for sure.
