Hotel combining grandeur with an air of intimacy in midtown Manhattan
The Warwick Hotel in midtown Manhattan was built in 1926 and its European elegance and vintage charm provide a quiet oasis in the city. It is close to some of New York's best attractions including MoMA, Broadway and Central Park. The Warwick Hotel retains the grandeur of its past but its facilities are modern. There is a business center, fitness center, bar, and restaurant. 54 restaurant features stunning murals. Painted in 1937 by the American illustrator Dean Cromwell, they provide a visually stunning backdrop for diners. Elsewhere guests enjoy 24-hour room service in champagne and beige rooms evoking golden age of Hollywood glamour.

- Murals on 54, the hotel's refurbished dining room, features innovative continental cuisine with international influences, with a delectable menu consisting of mouth-watering fresh grilled dishes and a variety of fine seafood with strong French, Spanish and Mediterranean accents. The dining rooms' fresh design accentuates the historic murals painted by Dean Cornwell, known as the "Dean of American Illustrators." Cornwell was commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1937 to paint murals for The Raleigh Room, then the original restaurant inside this apartment hotel. These murals are now completely restored.

New York was GREAT!
We went for the NY ART fair which was frantastic. The hotel and location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. (a tip: "in house restaurant expensive and ordinary...better options all around you")

Lap of luxury
From the sidewalk bell captain to the front desk, to the room service attendants, we were treated like Royalty! The lobby is a typically busy big city hotel atmosphere, but there are bell hops and check-in people and a very accessible concierge. There is gorgeous polished wood and embellishment throughout and exotic fresh flowers. The room we booked through [...]was newly renovated and redecorated. It was small, but we didn't intend on spending a lot of time there other than to sleep. The bathroom was modern and clean. We will be back.

Great location and reasonable price
We use the hotel as a home away from home when on business trips. The people know us and we feel welcomed. The only trouble this time was with the room service. We got either too much or too little of what we ordered and had to call to have the problems fixed. Other than that, it was pretty consistent with other stays.

Perfect room for a night in NY
Went to NY to have dinner and see some shows and this hotel was the perfect place to stay for the night. Wanted to sleep in more in the comfortable bed, but had to go back on the town.

The Villegi
Pretty good stay
The service we received at the Warwick was great, from check-in, to the doorman, to the bartender. The lobby was small, but classy. The location was great! Just 2 blocks from the E (blue) train and 3 from the orange line. Shopping on 5th Ave. just a block away. Always easy to catch a cab in front of the hotel also. The room was spacious by New York standards, as was the bathroom. The only ctiticism we had was that it was diffucult to control the temperature in the room, it was either too hot or too cold. I don't know if all the roms were like that, but ours was.

A beautiful old style classic
A beautiful old style classic hotel, just in the middle of everything in New York. The Deluxe-room was ok, but not more. On the photos you will se a sittingarea in Deluxe-room, in real life there is just a bed and a chair. But quiet, clean and warmly service, and very well-placed, kindly staff and very ok housekeeping. Ask for a room in high floor, and out to the street, then you dont have any noice.
