Elegant and fun

We travel to NYC on a regular basis and had been regulars at the Penninsula and the Carlyle. We stayed at the Waldorf Towers due to location near my meetings and were very happily surprised. The Waldorf Astoria is a nice family oriented hotel with a great location. The Waldorf Towers is a hidden gem with a great location. A seperate entrance off of the main lobby with seperate reception and consierge on the ground floor gives you the quiet you desire with the convenience of 50th and Park. The accomodations were classic and tasteful and the workout facility was amazing. Most importantly the staff was better than any of the previously mentioned hotels by a considerable margin. This will be our residence choice in NYC for the forseable future.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Megu on 1st between 47th and 48th is fabulous. It is not as well known as their Thomas Street location but just as good without the lines and commotion.
