Had a great stay

I really enjoyed this hotel. The only negative comment I will share is the front desk hospitaility is inconsistent. When I arrived there was a a woman at the front desk and she was fantastic. She intorduced herself and another staff member (I think was the bellman) and made recommendations for nearby places. Later that evening there was a tall blonde male at the front desk and I approached the desk and he didnt even look up. I asked him a question about restaurants and my perception was he did not want to be bothered. Although he did print me a list of near by restaurants he was unfriendly, cold and seemed annoyed. If I owned this gem of a hotel I would not want him representing my front desk.

great value in Manhattan

I've stayed at a lot of boutique hotels that are really just small hotels with a few style points slapped on. The Tuscany upgraded me to a spacious room, extremely clean and comfortable staff was great bartender in the wee bar was a charmer. Altogether recommend this hotel.

Huge room, great price

I was torn between a rating of 3 and 4, but for the price and given the size of my room, I had to go with the higher one. I'm not sure if all the rooms are as big as the one I had (303), but I've lived in smaller apartments. (The downside to 303? RIGHT next to the elevator, so buyer beware.) Hotel staff was friendly and if you need meeting space (or a restaurant), the sister hotel (The Court) is only two doors down. Gerry was very helpful in coordinating the meeting room and all servers were very friendly. My room could have been a smidge cleaner but it wasn't bad. One major flaw was no coffee in the room, presumably because there is a nice coffee shop in the lobby but some of us need to caffeinate before we interact with other humans, plus, they didn't open until 7am.

Business Trip

I had one night in the hotel. I was there for business. The room is terrific. The square footage of the deluxe suite is exaggerated a bit because there is a narrow area with a small dressing table, but the room is still quite sizable. The bathroom is small but very nicely appointed. Everything was new and very clean. There is a great gym (for a small hotel) on the 2nd floor.

Clean, good for business

Room was larger than most other NYC hotels, it was clean and offered all the basic ammenities needed. Staff was friendly and it was good for business. Near Bryant park which was nice but generally midtown is better for business travel than leisure.

Great value, if you plan on staying in

The room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom was tiny. I like the renovations. The location is a bit off the grid, unless you want to explore Murray Hill and Park Ave. It's quieter than I'd like. Front desk was avg at best. They seemed too casual, and unprofessional especially to younger patrons (under the age of 40.
