Great Location - Decent Price - Will Return
My girlfriend and I had such an amazing time in NYC. The Time Hotel was in a perfect location that allowed for us to walk around the city and come and go as we pleased. The Lounge was very nice and convenient with a Pool Room located in the back. Very reasonable priced drinks compared to what is around you. I have read other Reviews about the rooms being too small. However, this is the City what would you expect? The room was more than big enough for my girlfriend and I. The room and Hotel itself were very clean and I was pleased with the hotel staff. The Hotel was a little on the pricey side for one night. But given the location I suppose it was a reasonable price. Overall, the stay was great and I would definitely be returning again.

Needs Work...
Just not for me. I would much rather pay more for a huge jump in quality. I get that it is NYC but come on now. Small room. Not very clean. Slowest elevator I have ever used. Waited almost 15 minutes to get the Lobby from the 4th floor. I would go somewhere else if I were you.

A Good Deal for New York
The Time Hotel was easy to find and has parking next door and across the street. It is located in the theatre district on 49th Street amidst several theatres and others are just a short walk away. Their restaurant Serafina serves a good, although NYC priced breakfast, and the bar stays open late for dinner and/or a nightcap. There is a concierge to help you with New York questions and to watch your bags after checkout should you want to spend an extra day in the city. The rooms are small but comfortable and can hold a king bed. We would stay here again.

Never again
First room A/C did not work, no cold air blowing from the unit. called that morning no one came called again in the afternoon all they could do was move us to another room. Second room A/C would not cut off, Thermostat could not be changed. So to sum it up they just didn't seem to care. The reception staff at the front desk have the personality of rocks, no smiles, no welcomes, no thank yous. The only nice person there was the doorman.

Chilly Outside - Warm Inside
Loved the ambiance and quaintness of our hotel. What a perfect location! The bar/lounge was awesome too (loved our bartender)! The bellman kept all our luggage in a luggage room for only $6 after we had to check out - so we could do some more exploring of NYC. Only downfall, our room smelled of smoke and made all our belongings in our luggage smell after we left. (I was annoyed - and I am a smoker).

Great location and staff.
The location of the hotel is great. Getting to Time Square is a breeze. The staff at the hotel was very informative and helpful. Although our reservation did not register with their system upon our arrival, they were able to get us a room fairly quickly.

Perfect Location
The location of this hotel is positively perfect. A half block off Broadway and a couple of blocks from the heart of Times Square. There are a couple of theaters within 100 yards of the entrance, and a beautiful restaurant/piano bar right next door. While we didn't eat at Seraphina, the hotel's restaurant, it looked lovely, and the aroma's wafting through the air were mouth-watering. It is true that the carpets could use a little upgrading, blah, blah, blah, but the bed was so comfortable, the street noise barely discernable, and hallways so quiet who really cares about the slightly old carpet?! Just go to sleep already! Then go enjoy all the sights that are just a hop, skip, and a jump away! We ate breakfast about six blocks north on Broadway at a fabulous diner, Flapjacks. Breadfast, lunch, and dinner 24/7 at fairly reasonable prices. We highly recommend it! Give The Time a try, we think you will be very satisfied! Taxi from LaGuardia with tip was approximately $40.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Rockefeller Center, Times Square, many theaters, many restaurants, Radio City Music Hall, and Central Park (though this is a bit farther of a walk, it is an easy 15-20 minutes away).

We always enjoy our stay at The Time. It is clean and comfy and there is a great bar and restaurant. So close to all the Times Square hoopla.
