Best of the best

The hotel employees are very very friendly and helpfull, they listen-and do what you ask for. The best service ever. The view of the Statue of Liberty and the river made us stay in the hotel just enjoying the best view ever.

My review of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park

The Ritz Carlton is located right across the street from Battery park walking distance to the ferry that goes to Statue of Liberty. The hotel is a little more expensive than what we are used to but the location was very important. The staff was very nice and even though we were a family with children, they were quite accomodating. Get the room with the view of the Statue. It is worth it. The bathroom was great!

Lovely, Wonderfully Lovely

Entering The Ritz was a marvelous experience. It reminds one of a classier time, with cordial greetings and respect towards guests and employees alike. The room is your own New York dream apartment for your stay, with views available gazing at Ms. Liberty and ships sailing by. If you'd like a closer look the room comes equipped with a telescope. The shower is fine but the separate bath tub makes for a relaxing treat. Staying at The Ritz was easy, leaving was the hard part.

My review of The Ritz-Carlton New York Battery Park

The Ritz in Battery Park: our room was quite large with ample room for my 2 adult children and myself. The bathrrom was very large with both a tub and shower, as well as a separate room for the water closet. If your primary reason for being in New York is plays and Times Square, this is too far away for walking. We were only there for one night to move my daughter into an NYU dorm room on Water Street. The personnel were very accomodating, allowing us a late check out, so we could move her in and then come back to shower and change.
