Trip to NY
We had paid extra to get a better room, but the room we got was so small that there was hardly any space to move around confortably. Being pregnant I was extra sensitive to smells and the carpets on the floor had an unbearable stench. When we were checking in- there was some lady complaining about her room so she got put into what would have been our room and we had to wait for about 30 minutes at 1 at night to get her room. Since the hotel was overbooked we had no other choice than to stay in the terrible room.

visiting son
i went to visit my son in NY and picked the Sheraton since i always like to stay at the SPG brand. However, this Sheraton is not like the others that i visited. the bed was good and that's was it, nothing that i can really say that was outstanding. room wasn't even ready when i checked in at 3:00pm.

Hotel is located a walking distance to Little Italy's restaurants. It was just remodeled, nice, modern, clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The negative was that only 3 small elevators were servicing over 20 floors... long wait times to get to your room.

family getaway
The hotel room was clean and comfortable but it was small and had no refridorater or microwave.The bed was super comfortable and bath rooms were spotless with a great shower. Paid to much for the room , I'll look for a better deal next time.

Very nice getaway to the Big Apple
Very positive...extremely dog friendly...great location if you like Tribeca, SOHO, the Village, and Little Italy. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Basically what I expected from Sheraton and [...]!! Only issue was concierge who was very nice but not a pro.

A very pleasant surprise
The service was impeccable, people at the front desk were very pleasant, patient and smiling :) The hotel is brand new so we knew it would be clean, and it was indeed very nice and clean. The room was great, bed super comfortable, but the pillow were too soft... Thats a personal preference... A little noisy, but hey you're on Canal St. what can you do. But we were on the 4th floor, maybe it's less noisy on higher floors... The only thing we didn't like was not having free wi-fi in the rooms, and the 5$ Nestlé water bottles... a bit much... (that's why I put 4 stars :) It was a great experience all together, I would definitely go back... for that price!

Medium walk. Great little cafe in SoHo : La Gitane 242 Mott St. corner of Prince St. very modest and intimate european style... the food is great! breakfast or lunch...

Very good hotel,spotless & friendly
We found this hotel to be spotlessly clean with very friendly staff.The first room we had was very small and we asked to move which was not a problem.It's location is excellent with some good bars and restaurants around and very close to two subway lines. It does however, feel to be more like a business hotel.I would have no problems staying here again but it would not be my first choice.

West Broadway has some great restauarants. . . check out "900" - great Argentinian restaurant.

nice
nice hotel. simple, clean and located close to some good shops and restaurants. the parking garage across the street was only $41 for a little over 24 hours. it ended up cheaper to drive from providence and park then to buy 3 bus tickets. i will stay there again!
