Central Location
The room was a good size and the hotel was located in a area that was central to my needs. For the reduced rate offered the hotel was very reasonable but I had to extend my stay one additional night and the price of the room doubled. I would certainly stay there on another visit at the lower cost but not at the higher rate.

Excellent Value, Great Location
Arrived in the morning and was able to check in at 10AM! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room on the small side, but comfortable. Nice beds, great pillows. Excellent expanded continental breakfast. Location is a plus--near but not too near all the sights, without all the street noise. Wonderful Indian restaurant right next door which was recommended by the front desk. Appreciate the free wifi.

Weekend in NYC
Large room by NYC standards. In the middle of Indian town. If you like Indian food, this is the place to be. The location is the only downside to this hotel as it is not really within walking distance to any major tourist attractions. Having said that, I walked there all the from Central Park. I also walked to Chinatown and little Italy. Curry In a Hurry across the street has really good food but poor service. McDonald's next door is 24/7.

Park South is Now my NYC Hotel!
Friendly reception from arrival, checked bag early & on to museum. Lovely decor in room ( large vintage photo of NYC, oval mirror, accent lighting). Staff very friendly. Nice bed and quiet 6th floor room made sleeping easy. Excellent free continental breakfast is a real step above the usual. I highly recommend!

Couldn't Ask For More
I placed the location level down but not for any good reason. Being a seasoned New York City traveler I understand that getting a cab is not difficult. However, there are some travelers that like to be within "walking distance" of the main attractions. If that is the case then yes, this location will not suit you. However, a simple $10.00 cab fare will get you to any of the attractions your looking for. The room, staff, lobby bar, wifi were exceptional and I have never experienced better in all my trips to NY. It will be a new staple for my business trips to the city.

One Night Stay
My wife and I did a short get-away. We took an early bus from DC and by 11:30 am we were checked in. The location was perfect and pretty much walk around for two days. The hotel staff was very good and complimentary. The continental breakfast was very good.Definetly will stay again.
