Good location. And that's it.

This is a good hotel if you want to spend most of your time outside sightseeing. It's a great location midtown and it's located right across the street from Central Park. It's a bit old and in need of renovations. I tried a couple of times to get early check-in but they didn't seem to make an effort to accommodate my request. The manager was friendly and he did accommodate my request to upgrade my parents' room, after I let them know this trip was my present to them.

Birthday Trip

Fantastic location, lovely comfortable room with a fantastic park view! Staff were exceptional and small but stylish bar with great drinks. One disappointing feature- Mandatory facilities charge, includes daily 2 hour drinks and nibbles 5-7pm, we were never around for this as we were out and about making the most of the city, also included wifi and gym. We only used the wifi and felt that it should not be mandatory if you are not going to use most of the facilities. A wifi only option would suit tourists like us, this package was more suited for business trips and people travelling alone.

Great location

This hotel is the perfect location for a trip to NYC. The bed was very comfortable and although the hotel was full we never heard any noise while in our room. The evening happy hour was really nice with a great view of Central Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Location Location Location

Front desk attendant wasn't very personal at checkin. Room was very clean and convertible but it didn't have a coffee maker. The bar was nice and the waiter was awesome. #1 was the location, can't beat it. All and all I would stay there again and recommend.

great location

This hotel is really perfect for kids near to park, view of zoo and playground, next to all the 5 star hotels, great cocktail hour, but the 30 dollar per day resort fee seemed a bit much even though cocktail and internet and phone and printing was included, if you don't use those items don't really need it. would definitely go back. get a view room or part park room, gorgeous. Hotel does need a face lift and a remodel, but very cozy none the less. No restaurant just a coffee bar, so be sure to have a grub hub account if you have small kids and need to eat in. Only complaint was front desk staff management of packages, very slow and nobody wants to take responsibility.
