Ok
Staff was not helpful and rude. Lobby was dank and sloppy. No computer room for printing boarding passes. No water pressure in shower. Concierge wouldnt even look up at me when I stood before her to buy Annie tickets. I ended up buying elsewhere. Room was clean, warm, average. Nothing special here. Wouldnt stay here again. Im sure there are Much better for the same price.

Enjoyable break
Busy hotel. Good location. Staff very helpful & friendly. Our room was next to the lifts so rather noisy at times. Tea-making facility would have been nice. Breakfast in the restaurant was good, although a little pricey. Take-away breakfast excellent value though. We were surpried at having to pay for our bags to be kept at the hotel for a couple of hours before we left for the airport.

Had a great time in New York!
This was our second time staying at Park Central Hotel. The first visit (2 years ago) was a much better experience. Because we love the location, we brought guests with us on this trip, and we/they were disappointed in the experience. Staff was friendly and accomodating, but the ammenities of our room were sub par. The toilet backed up twice, one phone did not work, bathroom lighting was horrible, way too dark to get ready in. In our opinion the room looked drab and needs a face lift.

HORRIBLE!
Absolutely Terrible. I did have a reservation. They over sold their rooms and at 8 pm they told me to continue waiting and eventually a room would open up. I had no place to change into a suit for dinner and my play. The staff was avoiding all guest like the plague. Finally they gave us a room. We got to it and it was dirty still! The NY Hilton is a block away and all the difference in the world!

Great Location
We recently stayed at the Park Central with our two children and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The Hotel was in a great location, very close to Central Park and Times Square. Very convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The staff was wonderful!! Especially Elizabeth at the front desk, who was very helpful, diligent and accomodating our requests. We will definitely stay at the Park Central again and will recomend it to our firends and family

Great experience, lovely staff, super room, ideal location. After reading some reviews prior to the trip I was not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Will be my choice on any future trips to New York and will tell my friends, too.

Completely Acceptable for a weekend in Manhattan with the Family
The hotel had a nicely appointed lobby and was perfectly located so you could get anywhere from time square to central park by foot and subway stops were close by. Really cant' beat the location for a whirlwind tourist weekend. Room was decent, a little stinky at first but once we aired it out it was fine. Ice maker on 7th floor did not work but the one on the 6th did. No bed bugs, clean sheets good pillows decent shower clean enough, probably a step above the Holiday Inn but much classier.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Plenty of great places to eat within a block , Famiglia Pizza is better than Ray's . Bagel and Bean great for breakfast. The View rooftop bar at the Marriott for late night cocktail on 48th floor worth it
