Great location - very friendly
This was our second visit to the Park Central Hotel on 7th Avenue, New York. The Location is excellent, it?s just across the street from Carnegie Hall with Central Park a matter of minutes away in one direction and Times Square a short walk in the other direction. It is a very large and therefore busy Hotel but the Staff are excellent and were always able to offer advice or deal with any queries we had. The rooms were large and comfortable, with either one or two double beds, flat screen TV, coffee machines, telephone, safe and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathrooms were clean with fresh towels every other day. There are both smoking and non smoking rooms. When we checked in we asked if it was possible to have a room overlooking 7th Avenue and the Manager kindly upgraded us so we had a room with a fabulous view at no extra cost so it?s worth asking! We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to others and will definitely be staying here in the future.

Not Applicable
If possible visit the sights by area and get to them by Subway, there are stations on every corner, buy the $10 Metro Card which gives you 6 journey's, but you dont have to buy one each, a couple (or more) just pass the card back to each one in your party. Its not cheating!!!!! You have paid for journeys and we were told to do this!

Comfortable, Large Room
Just go down 7th ave go get to times sq. (about 10 blocks downhill) Nice size rooms for NY. No funny oders like smoke or cleaner. We had a partial view of times sq. There is a event planner desk and they helped us find fun things to do and answered all our questions!! That was a big help for us. You can buy all your tickets from them and save time in lines! We would stay there again!! Fun!!!

Great location
I was somewhat nervous about this hotel after going back, but I want you to know that our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. Waiting for an elevator was no big deal. If you are a waa waa waa whiner kind of person, you should spend the extra $100 and stay someplace else, because you will find something that is not perfect. As for us, we would rather spend the money on having fun. We would definitely go back again.

Great Location for the price
I was impressed with the hotel because the price was a reasonable price for the NYC area. The room was small and the bath had it's issue by being small but the if you want a very clean with the minimal ammenities it is a great deal. The location was perfect being near everything.

Great Place to stay if you're more interested in whats outside then inside
This hotel is wonderful. The lobby and everything is very nice and check in was very easy, I was shocked to see how big our superior king room was. Its huge for New York standards trust me. The bathroom is also quite big for New York bathrooms. Right when we got in the room our bed sheets were dirty but we just called the front desk and they brought them up really fast changed them out and it barely took anytime at all. Somebody's alarm clock had gone off above our room and woke us up quite early but we called the front desk and someone went up to the room to turn it off, The staff were very expedient and helpful. The only real drawback is that the walls are paper thin! You can hear most to all everything going on. But not really at night so thats not to bad. If you get a room on the inside part of the building prepare yourself for some darkness from the building blocking any sunlight but there are many lights so its really just fine. Just a few blocks away from Times Square and about 2 from Central park. Its a great location you wont regret staying there.
