Park Central New York

The Staff at the Park Central was great, friendly, accommodating, etc. We arrived well before Check-in and Angela was able to arrange it so one of our rooms was ready so we could stow our luggage. Carmelo was so friendly and happy to help with directions to make sure we went to the best places. The room, while not dirty, needed a good deep cleaning. I would stay here again if I weren't planning to spend much time at the hotel since the price was reasonable and the bed was comfortable.

I may stay here again. Location plus price was good.

Arrived at hotel when just about everyone was coming too. ..Sunday afternoon. Lines were long but handled most efficiently. We arrived early so room was not ready but we were given key to bathroom to change. That worked out but once again-crowded so had to change in less then private br. Had to pay to store bags while room getting ready ...not expensive-$1.50 per bag...just unexpected. Room was super, clean and included safe if needed. No fridge or microwave. View was backs of other buildings ...oh well. Overall, hotel was very nice and my. 12 year olddaughter and I felt fancy and GLAMOROUS. Everything was within walking distance. Excellent concierge and taxi service. Super happy with this hotel choice!

The rooms were little small...but the location was excellent. The room service were good and stuffs were helpful. Our exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working for days and they could not fix it. Otherwise everything was nice and clean. I will surely recommend people to stay over there.

I've stayed in this hotel before and found it to be a clean, nice hotel. Close to the subway, good bars, restaurants...

I was surprised that I was able to get a room for only $140 in such a great location at a 4-star hotel. However, when I arrived at my room, I understood what had happened. From the pictures of the lobby, this looks like a nice enough hotel, but I was clearly in a section of the hotel that hadn't been renovated in a *while*. I was in the 2-star section of the 4-star hotel. (Of course I'm working on the assumption that the rooms they charge over $200 for are actually of 4-star quality.) They also gave me two double beds instead of 1 king. I was only there for 1 night, so it didn't really matter, but I'd been looking forward to staying at a "nice hotel in the city" and that wasn't really the experience. I guess next time I'll be more skeptical of a "great deal."

Best location, you look to the left there is Central Park and you look to the right there is Times Square. The lobby is modern but more like a three star than a four star. The room furniture could be changed. The room had a small round table that had chucks of woods missing. We requested a coffee maker. It took two calls and thirty minutes to receive it. The iron did not work. When we called for a new one it was exchanged within five minutes. Probably due to the location of the room we hardly had any phone signal or Internet. The hotel offered Internet service.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and clean. A good value in NYC but the room was lacking in amenities such as coffee maker or fridge but from what I understand is normal for NYC. The location was wonderful for access to Central Park and Times Square.

For the price and location, this hotel ended up being a deal as a last minute booking.
