Served my purpose.
This was my first stay in NYC and the hotel served it's purposes for me. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was clean, and a decent size. The bathroom was not separate from the vanity area. There was no view from the window. I thought it was expensive, but that's just the norm in NYC. It's a short walk to Central Park.

You are only minutes from Time Square and some of NYC's most famous landmarks. Lots to do and a great location in Midtown.

Busy but quiet
The Park Central New York was at a perfect location for our fall weekend. We were near Central Park and Columbus Circle which suited our planned activities. The was good subway transportation with a station on one corner of our block. There was also a Starbucks on our block. The lobby was always busy but the halls and rooms were quiet. All in all we had a great stay.

My review of Park Central New York
The Park Central New York was disappointing. The shower liner had mold growing on it. The shower grout had mold and pink colored slime on it. It took 2 calls and 3 days to have the shower cleaned properly. I was unable to connect to the internet using the ethernet cable in the room. I placed 3 calls, even spoke with technical support, and still wasn't able to connect. The room was not vacuumed once while I was there. I cannot recommend this hotel, mainly because of the total lack and/or slow response when calling.

This hotel is located close to everything one may want to see. All tour buses pick up/drop off are close as well as the subway.

do not go
I was placed in the worst room,faced 4 walls, could not use my computer or cell phone in room! Hotel maid agreed...when complained and requested another room told all full for 2 days. Room small and bathroom inadequate lighting. Amenities vile.. dirty laundry carts in hall all day, maids pleasant but clearly overworked. Room service used trays left outside roooms for 24 hrs.

Friendly and efficient

Very family and business friendly.
The Park Central Hotel was very nice, comfortable and Clean. Great location for sight seeing or jump on the subway to go anyplace in Manhattan in just a few minutes. I would enjoy staying here again.

Very clean, great location
The Park Central Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small for such a large hotel, but this was not a major problem since I was travelling solo for business.

Great Location
If you want to stay in a clean hotel room that is a good size for Midtown Manhattan then this is the place. I enjoyed my stay! Only two blocks from Central Park and very close to the theatre district.
