There are 935 rooms and suites at the Park Central New York all of which are provided with 32" flat screen televisions, and the option of internet access (fee applies). Park Central Hotel has recently commenced a multi-million dollar renovation project due for completion in late Summer 2013. Designed to accommodate up to four guests, each room has Hi Speed internet access and flat screen television with movies on demand and choice of more than 50 channels to unwind with at the end of your day in the big apple. Extra person charges apply for more than 2 persons.

This guest room offers one king bed. Includes dual line telephones, data ports and voicemail, in room fax machine, in room safe, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, pay per view movies and Nintendo. Requests for rooms with 2 beds must be made with the hotel directly.
Concierge King
Each room, located on floors 18 to 25, includes wireless internet access, along with a full bath and 32" flat screen television, with movies on demand and choice of more than 50 channels, for your convenience.

Remarkable Hotel

I normally don't write reviews (good or bad), but I felt compelled to write about the Park Central Hotel. This was my second time staying at the hotel (I had a conference in the midtown area) and this time was even better than the first. This hotel is located in a perfect location (two blocks in one direction is Central Park... two blocks in the other direction is Times Square). Regardless if you're in NYC for business or pleasure, this hotel is great. I found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Ellen at the front desk who epitomized stellar service, attentiveness, and friendliness. I have never had such great service in the states. The rooms are very clean, the in-hotel restaurant serves tasty food, and the room rates are a great bang for your buck. Whenever I'm in the City, I will make it a must to stay at Park Central Hotel.

Park Central Hotel

A coffee pot in the room would've been a real plus... the nature of my stay required me to get up early. They say you can get anything you want in NY anytime, but I couldn't get a cup of joe at 4 a.m...room service didn't kick in 'til 6:30, and the earliest coffee shop opened at 5:30. other than that, my needs were simple. It was clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed and fresh towels. I can't comment on the gym or room service or internet access or anything else I didn't use.

Great Location, excellent value!

The location was great! Two blocks to Central Park and we had a very enjoyable walk through the park on Saturday morning. We also attended a number of Broadway shows and the Tony Awards at Radio City and were able to walk to all events. The Metro beside the hotel provided easy access to some of the main north/south routes to allow easy access to Manhattan.

Make sure you take the time to visit Central Park. It is very near by and whether you walk, run, bicycle, or ride in a carriage provides a very relaxing way to spend some time in one of the busiest and most exciting cities on Earth.

This is not a 4-star hotel!

I have stayed at hotels for less money in NYC that were cleaner and higher quality. The rooms were fine, but the bathroom reminded us of a two star hotel. Other than body lotion and shampoo, we did not have a single amenity. No minibar, no magazines about NYC, no in-room coffee. Barebones.

Good location & service not so good room

I was in for site seeing and to relax with some shopping. The walls in our rooms were dirty, the head board on the beed was missing trip, wall paper coming up, and the blow dryer blew out flames. Small cramped room.

We will stay here again

The subway is at the corner of the Park Central hotel. It is the best way to get around. Pre-Register your room whenever you arrive - at 4pm check-in simply get key at desk. Until check-in, bags can be stored at bag check.

Weekend Getaway

This hotel was in a perfect location. Just a few blocks from Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. Also the Subway was just steps away out the hotel doors, which took you directly to the Staten Island Ferry, and if you wanted to see the Statue of Liberty all you had to do was walk to Batery Park. The hotel rooms were quiet, even though you were right on 7th Ave. Great view of 7th Ave, which you could see right down to Times square.

Park Central New York

The location is perfect for being in walking distance to many of NYCs attractions...Central Park (2 blcks N), Times Sq (few blocks) SW, Rockefeller Center (few blocks SE) and has had a nice rehab in recent yrs. Small room, but standard for NYC hotel. We are low maintenance service wise but when we called for them when we thought the bathroom smelled a little funky when we first arrived, they were there soon to take care of it. Overall, great place for the price.
