Views of Times Square from elegant New York surroundings

The Park Central New York is an elegant and luxurious establishment situated a very close to Central Park, and in direct vicinity to Broadway. Guests who are visiting on business trips are accommodated at the Park Central with five executive floors designed specifically for business travelers. Visitors will find the location of this hotel extremely practical for experiencing the sights and sounds of New York including Carnegie Hall and Times Square.

Park Central New York Rooms

There are 935 rooms and suites at the Park Central New York all of which are provided with 32" flat screen televisions, and the option of internet access (fee applies). Families are well catered for as amenities supplied with all rooms include a Nintendo on demand, movies on demand, and practical items on request such as cribs. A writing desk, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and hairdryers are also supplied with every room.

Park Central Hotel has recently commenced a multi-million dollar renovation project due for completion in late Summer 2013. At completion, the property will be thoroughly re-positioned with a state of the art design and deluxe amenities for all rooms and suites, and a comprehensive lobby redesign introducing a new bar and restaurant. A fully operational satellite lobby and guest service facilities will provide a seamless guest experience throughout the renovation of the public spaces.

Superior Double Double
Designed to accommodate up to four guests, each room has Hi Speed internet access and flat screen television with movies on demand and choice of more than 50 channels to unwind with at the end of your day in the big apple. Extra person charges apply for more than 2 persons.
Superior Room
This guest room offers one king bed. Includes dual line telephones, data ports and voicemail, in room fax machine, in room safe, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, pay per view movies and Nintendo. Requests for rooms with 2 beds must be made with the hotel directly.
Concierge King
Each room, located on floors 18 to 25, includes wireless internet access, along with a full bath and 32" flat screen television, with movies on demand and choice of more than 50 channels, for your convenience.
Classic King
Our newly renovated Classic King rooms are an average of 270 square feet and have 46" Samsung LED Full HD televisions, Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, iDoc mp3 docking stations, streamlined dark mahogany desk and dresser with integrated velvet cushioned bench and white marble tops. Complimentary HBO and ESPN, as well as access to all major networks, and pay per view movies on demand offer you all the comforts of home. These rooms are ideal for one or two people visiting for work or leisure.
Classic Double Double
Our newly renovated Classic Two Double rooms are an average of 285 square feet and have 46" Samsung LED Full HD television, Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, iDoc mp3 docking stations, streamlined dark mahogany desk and dresser with integrated velvet cushioned bench and white marble tops. Complimentary HBO and ESPN, as well as access to all major networks, and pay per view movies on demand offer you all the comforts of home. Weekend Getaway

This hotel was in a perfect location. Just a few blocks from Central Park and a short walk to Times Square. Also the Subway was just steps away out the hotel doors, which took you directly to the Staten Island Ferry, and if you wanted to see the Statue of Liberty all you had to do was walk to Batery Park. The hotel rooms were quiet, even though you were right on 7th Ave. Great view of 7th Ave, which you could see right down to Times square.

Park Central New York

The location is perfect for being in walking distance to many of NYCs attractions...Central Park (2 blcks N), Times Sq (few blocks) SW, Rockefeller Center (few blocks SE) and has had a nice rehab in recent yrs. Small room, but standard for NYC hotel. We are low maintenance service wise but when we called for them when we thought the bathroom smelled a little funky when we first arrived, they were there soon to take care of it. Overall, great place for the price.

clean, safe, friendly staff, good locati

found this on the website and pictures lived up to actual rooms! Location was good with central park/time square, tour bus pick ups, subway all within minutes of door. HIGHLY recommend this hotel and have already sent many friends to book this spot.

wonderful clean rooms and friendly

good location

The location of the hotel was fine, but I was there for business and at night the walls were paper thin. Maybe because I was in a connecting room but I could hears every word and what the people next door had on TV. I am amazed how people don't care. I called the operator and they just wanted to send up security. I was also booked a king bed and they did not give it to me because they said Orbitz booked it in smoking, which I could not accept.

Not the best

Overall - OK. The room was average. Service was average. The maid missed servicing our room one day. The shower diverter didn't work well. We had to pull up and down on it several times to get the shower going, then it was only about half force. There was a very annoying pinging noise behind the wall a couple of nights (? plumbing). Just loud enough to keep you awake. The restaurant had a way overpriced very average breakfast buffet. When back in NYC, we will look elsewhere.
